Chasing Nord

Chasing Nord is an alternative rock band from Rijeka, Croatia, formed in October 2013. The meaning of the name reflects the idea of being lost in the sonic wilderness, but also their hopeful and positive attitude towards music and life. Their sound is a blend of dark textural ambience, massive guitar riffs and emotional lyrics with a very personal feeling. The band consists of Mihael Prosen on lead vocals and bass guitar, Tino Margan on the drums and guitarists Vedran Vučković and Ivan Jović. Their debut album was released via Geenger Records in April 2017. and distributed all over Europe through Rough Trade. Chasing Nord are winners of Demofest 2015., the biggest regional competition of bands in Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina). They have played many established festivals like INmusic (Zagreb, Croatia) and Metaldays (Tolmin, Slovenia) and have had a tour in China which included 16 concerts in cities all over the country, as well as a tour in Eastern Europe (Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria) where they played 9 live shows in larger cities.   CHASING NORD is currently preparing to release their new SINGLE!
