Finally watched A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.

If I were Maekar, I would have shaven Aerion's head, knocked him out and dropped him in the middle of nowhere, pretending he got tragically lost, just so I wouldn't have to deal with his bullshit.

You cannot convince me that James Norton did not take inspiration for the bathtub scene in House of the Dragon from Anthony Boyle and his bathtub scene in House of Guinness. That reeks 'I was on the set when Anthony filmed the iconic bathtub scene and yearned to do it too.'

Whitaker's ending this season was honestly pretty half-assed.

If Mohan wasn't there, triumphantly taking the number one spot for the most lazy-ass way to write a character at the end of a season, Dennis would take it.

The whole Amy storyline feels so unnecessary and annoying at this point. I frankly feel like the writers are keeping it alive just to have a conceivable place where they can send Whitaker if they ever plan on writing him off.

I do realise that Dennis is a chronic people-pleaser, and he doesn't want to stop helping Amy out because he would feel immensely guilty about it + it's his way of treating homesickness because working his ass off on a ranch is how he grew up.

However, this boy needs to move the fuck on. Like, come on. That's what inevitably happens when you're in your twenties. Everyone experiences this, especially when they move out of a small town/village—speaking from a personal experience here. He has the whole setup for it already there, on the palm of his bloody hand—has moved away from the middle of fucking nowhere, finished medical school, is doing a residency in a big-ass city, starting to earn some money, being independent from his family, living with a young lesbian, who drags him to gay clubs, fixes his Amish-boy image, and most likely pushes him to be more open and accepting of the fact that he's (very, very likely) not entirely straight.

But no.

We'll make this guy, with a gay mullet and avocado obsession, be in a lavender union with a woman and a baby on a ranch where he spends his rare days off.

Are we fucking serious? Let this poor fellow experience the big-city freedom, for god's sake. Send him to the gym and introduce him to weight-lifting, protein shakes, and gym bro diet, give him a bloody motorbike, so that he can fanboy with Robby over motorcycle manuals, anything but being in a questionable relationship with a young widow who has a toddler and a ranch.

Those Robby x Abbot scenes in the last episode were honestly the peak of character interactions this season, you cannot convince me otherwise. Noah and Shawn have such an intriguing and touching acting chemistry together—you can really see that Noah wasn't lying when he said that he views Shawn like a brother and loves challenging and pushing him when they act together.

Let me be a bit bitter about the fact that Young Sherlock has already been renewed for another season by Prime, while House of Guinness is being blatantly forgotten by Netflix.

You do not understand. I need at least one more season of that cunty-ass moustache that Anthony Boyle has pulled out for this show.

I’m honestly rooting for the producers to film a dedicated night-shift season, if only to expose the hypocrisy of the fans who constantly vilify Robby.

It would be so fucking ludicrous to watch them abruptly turn on Jack Abbot once they’re forced to spend an entire cycle with him as the primary attending because they'd eventually have to confront the reality that Jack is just as mentally scarred and fundamentally flawed as Robby. He simply manoeuvres through his trauma with a different set of defence mechanisms.

To view Jack Abbot as just a 'cool doctor' with a taste for the adrenaline of a night shift is to completely miss the tragedy of his character. He isn’t some casual thrill-seeker; he is a combat-wounded Army medic who left a piece of himself on a battlefield in the Middle East and a grieving widower who still can’t bring himself to take off his wedding ring.

His obsession with unhinged night shifts and tactical SWAT calls isn't a personal preference—it’s a damn survival mechanism.

He seeks out chaos because the high-stakes noise of a crisis is the only thing loud enough to drown out the silence of an empty house and the ghosts of his past. He isn't fine. He is a man using the ER as a theatre of war to stay in a constant state of fight-or-flight, because that is the only place he knows how to function.

I can't wait for Langdon to make the decision to transfer to the night shift after the end of this season—because he now understands that the dynamics between him and Robby will never heal entirely, and so he will never fully thrive under Michael as an attending—and become Abbot's golden child—the son that Jack always dreamed of having (handsome, competent, daring, former athlete and stuff)—while Robby continues to nurture his star pupil Whitaker on the day shift, who is essentialy his younger version, with his empathetic, obliging, eager to learn nature.

Bonus points if they turn it into a competition between themselves over whose charge has more potential and talent.

You know, I can get behind the idea that the character of Dr Mohan would leave the ER after this season.

It wouldn't be realistic if all the residents simply decided to stay, solely because they are established parts of the cast at this point, and if there is a character with more than one reason to consider a change of their work setting, it is Mohan, let's be honest here. Not to mention, as had been discussed even in the show, she would definitely thrive a lot more in other medical specialities than she does in emergency medicine.

However, what I cannot get behind is the blatant disrespect with which Supriya Ganesh is being treated by the production crew after it has been announced that this was her and Mohan's last season in the show.

Last-minute cutting out her scenes in the last three episodes to a miserable minimum, when you should instead be giving Mohan a considerable spotlight to give the character a satisfying conclusion. Telling the actress not to come to the show panel, or at least making her feel like she would not be welcomed there now. Having the backstage situation so messy that Shawn Hatosy has to be giving out these diplomatic answers and tiptoeing around the entire topic when asked about it.

Genuinely, what the fuck happened between Supriya Ganesh and whoever from the production crew is responsible for this entire decision?

You cannot convince me that this is not a conflict on a personal level.

Can you imagine how ridiculously good it would have been if Young Sherlock was actually a prequel to Ritchie's Sherlock movies, and he could make these two go from this:

Most likely an unpopular opinion, but I ended up being rather exasperated with Beatrice Holmes by the end of Young Sherlock.

She just seems so messily and hastily written after her reveal (the whole storyline around her worked out rather stupidly after she emerged as her true self in Constantinopole, in my opinion) that I actually wish the showrunners had just stuck to Doyle's canon, where Sherlock's only sibling is Mycroft, and rather explored their relationship further, or used the screentime to delve deeper into his dynamics with Moriarty because that would have done such a service for Ritchie's Sherlock movies where Moriarty appears as Sherlock's nemesis.

And yes, I am very well aware that the series is supposed to stand on its own, rather than being a direct prequel to the movies with RDJ, but that alone is frankly nonsensical and sort of counterproductive to me. Ritchie could have used this show to create such a rich prequel for his movies (and fucking finally follow it with the third Sherlock movie because that's what we, and RDJ, alongside Jude Law, yearn for).

I know that they needed to make their father seem truly wicked and evil, so they came up with this whole manipulative, cold-hearted storyline of him faking their sister's death, keeping them in the dark about the truth for years, while grooming Beatrice to use her for his own sake, but I just ended up hating this whole storyline.

I genuinely need to know who Noah Wyle's stylist is because I am yet to see a single photo of him wearing an atrocious outfit. And the fact that he dresses his age, but makes it actually stylish? Chef's kiss.

I need talk shows, social media admins, and fans at live interviews to STOP showing the actors spicy fanarts (not to mention, without even tagging the artists) and asking them about these ships in such a depth.

The fact that Noah Wyle is an open-minded man, who considers this whole Whitaker X Robby endearing and funny, does not mean that all the actors are this accepting of these parts of fandoms.

Keep this for the fans who engage in this willingly. The same applies to the actors. They will be able to find it, if they voluntarily search for it, and they will talk about it, if they want to, but DO NOT enforce this on them.
