so the nibbler mango's just kind of come up to you and stare at you, even call out to their pack mates are like "yep can't do anything about this". that is so awesome that they genuinely communicate to the pack. like i noticed it bc of being hunted but even in this circumstance. the bigger mango also recognises it can't attack you in the tadpole and just leaves you alone

the hammerhead is hilarious though. I wonder if each one has a different behaviour? because one of them had rammed my tadpole when i was out of it (maybe it depend on if youre inside of it or not?) but another one was OBSESSED with me it was following me like crazy. so i decided to finally stand still and stare at it. and it just stared back at me. and then it would swim up and rub against the tadpole. and then go back and stare at it again. and then rub up against it. rinse and repeat... i think it was trying to impress the tadpole thinking it was a potential mate ahhahaha that is hilarious and adorable im so in love with this game and constantly more and more impressed with the creature ai!!! wow!!!

I think I’m genuinely gonna start a second subnautica 2 playthrough… I didn’t take any pictures my first time because I was so immersed but this time I am spamming the heck out of the screenshot button.

I would love to write a larger review piece on my opinions of the game, but I’ll say with confidence that it’s the best thing I’ve played since Silksong. Actually absurd how much this game fits my tastes in every conceivable way I love it so much

I KNOW right? I’m such a huge fan of the environmental storytelling and the sheer scale of the map. Exploring the second region of the game low key filled me with a sense of childlike wonder. also yes you can be in the pictures real collector leviathan

Introducing Ripple, the Scrubby Vagabond

Hi, I wanna yap a little about this character’s origins because why not! So, Ripple is the main character of a book I’ve been cooking up in my head for the past year or so by the same name. The story follows him going on an adventure in a fictional world, resolving conflicts and learning about his past along the way. Ripple starts out rather lazy and indifferent to the world around him, but possesses a lot of hidden potential he may not yet be aware of.

I realized how there… really aren’t that many fantasy stories without humans or human-like characters, so I wanted to make something that fit my tastes while also being casual and easy to pick up. I already have a bunch of other doodles that I won’t show yet, but I’m really excited to get the ball rolling with this. I won’t post those yet (not that I have any semblance of a following here anyways lol), but my current plan is to flesh out some more ideas with doodles and concepts, before starting the writing process in a few months. Same flow as what I did for wrt pretty much. I will *try my best* to fight my fear of sharing and YAP REGULARLY, even if nobody sees it then just for me to read back in the future. Seriously, the catalogue of thoughts will be a godsend when I inevitably forget something lol.

Ok but the issue is I'm not in any FANDOMS so its just not worth it. Anyways I finished subnautica 2 yesterday and boy what a great early access... also gonna watch playoffs final today so that's hype. Once again manifesting the feinberg run like I can't believe he won TWO MATCHUPS TO PERCH.. The whole community in shock lol

Oh my gosh I napped right through the subnautica 2 release… typical chep. I FORGOT TO PRELOAD IT LEMME DO THAT NOW.

I’m gonna go soooo slow, scan everything and get so immersed just you wait. I’ve been playing the heck out of the original subnautica in preparation for this (it’s the first time I finished the game, actually!) so if it’s half as awe-inspiring as the first game then I can’t wait. I could drone on about how formative subnautica 1 means to me, but now’s not the time for that.

Anyways, time to get my claws wet :p

I lowkey wanna have a kid before 30… is that too young?? I feel like such an unc considering these things but like if I get a high paying job and security then I don’t think its outta the question. I talked to my parents about it and they said gen z shouldn’t have kids because if the financial situation where I live… so idk……

Maybe I’m thinking too far into the future, but I’m also not little anymore.. I have long-term goals I wanna start working toward in life which is WEIRD!! Like, actually such a weird shift in mentality. Lame adult stuff is lame but hey who knows, maybe in 5 years I’ll be fully immersed in the world of homeowning or detergent or what vegetables I should be eating today or whatever. Life is funny like that.
