@inhighcotton Happy birthday, old friend! I'm glad to hear you've had a nice Sunday. I spent this morning on the mountain, it's my first time up there when it's still this cold. It lead to some magnificent views, and after a nice walk I stopped for a snack before turning back to head to the car. Partway there I spotted a Doe watching me, we looked at one another till she darted away across the trail. Biggest animal I've yet seen on the mountain. They say that Sasquatch is up here too, but today it seems the only violent stone age primitive out there was me.

It's a magnificent pistol. I had resigned myself to having to get a TLR-1HL and the PHLSTER extended controls to use it with the crazy long trigger guard, till I learned my TOR Fusion has an auto-on function when the weapon is raised. Very handy.

It just looks like it'll hall perfectly onnhand when drawing on a target

I still need to zero the adjustable sights, or at least see if I even need to. I'm not a huge fan of the adjustable style, they just seem finicky and delicate.

I agree with ya which is why I avoid pustols like the ruger blackhawk. My makarov has an adjustable sight but its only for elevation and seems to be on.

I replaced mine with a surplus slide. The Baikal adjustable sights don't seem to be particularly popular with most guys. I just like things being basic and simple.

I overpaid a little but it was now or never. Meanwhile I got an amazing deal on the USP, and the Glock 41 before it. 2023 was a bumper year for pistols for me.
