seeing as i’m never going to use this blog again, this is as good of a time as any to “reveal” my main. hi! i’m karkat @slcklekind and any further issues/questions/hate/whatever should be redirected there.

i dunno how many other systems can relate (i know there aren’t many of us in mogai circles, or even in general) so maybe it’s just me but as a fictive in a mixed traumagenic system im highly uncomfortable with the fact that some of the bigger mogai blogs are anti endo-system or interact with people who are anti-endo systems. i’d be more active on this blog if that wasn’t the case but i’m already getting enough shit from exclusionists and regs as is, i don’t need to be reminded i’m “”fake”” a third time.

i think i’m just done with the mogai community in general. continue to do and identify as what you want, i don’t have any qualms with mogai as a concept, but my identity as a fictive comes first, and i have felt nothing but othered and rejected by the majority of mogai-centric blogs. i can’t describe my gender in a way singlets would understand, especially since i can’t begin to understand my gender myself, and i definitely do not need more people from all angles telling me i’m doing/feeling something wrong or existing “wrong.” no thank you, this is my final post unless something major happens.

for “accepting” people, mogai blogs are either really misinformed, or seemingly just do not care. and any space that doesn’t care about my existence is one i’m entirely uncomfortable and unhappy in. i know i’m just a small voice but, to anyone willing to listen: take this as a sign. accept all of me or accept none of me. you should know this damn well by now.

There is a lot of talk about gender dysphoria and euphoria being signs that you are nonbinary.

But you don’t have to have any strong feelings about your gender or lack of gender. You can just “know” that you are nonbinary.

Don’t let others monitor your feelings so that they can decide how nonbinary you are.

i’m not sure if there’s a similar term for it already, but a while back i was questioning my sexuality and came up with a term that basically means “only attracted to one’s favorite person(s)” and it’s exclusive to bpd/similar disorders. if there isn’t already a word for that, i might go ahead and coin it? i don’t identify with it anymore but maybe someone can find a use for it.

Is it alright if I ask what an endosystem is? That sounds like a really hard thing to go through

it’s a lot to explain to a singlet (someone who isn’t in a system) so i’ll try to narrow it down, but:

how i’d describe what a system is; when multiple people share a body. that’s it. a system is when there are multiple people sharing a body/brain/etc. (i had something typed out here but it got too long so i’d recommend scrolling through blogs like headmatesfaq and non-trauma-headspace which helped us realize what a system was, and that we were a system, and helped us accept ourselves)

so that leaves the question of how/why there are multiple people in a body, and it usually narrows down to three reasons:

trauma. this often comes in the form of dissociative identity disorder, but not always. (we call these systems “traumagenic” in nature)

spiritual practices. i’m not familiar with the terminology here, sorry. i’m pretty sure most of the time these are referred to as spiritual systems.

not trauma, but not spiritual. they just weren’t caused by trauma, were formed due to something else, or have no known cause for forming. (these ones are “endogenic” in nature)

a great deal of people believe that to be in a system you need either dissociative identity disorder or otherwise specified dissociative disorder (sometimes known as DDNOS)-- they’re against all non-traumagenic systems, and even some traumagenic systems (ours, for example, as we aren’t diagnosed with either disorder)

hopefully that makes sense. i try to stay out of the discourse (and as a result, the plural community in general) so i might be off on a few things, this is just a brief summary

coining two new terms because i couldn’t find anything close enough for comfort. these are mostly for myself but anyone who wants to can use them of course

the first two flags are mugender or mutgender:

where ones gender (or lack thereof) is affected by their status as a mutant and/or their mutancy itself

can be tied to presentation

not exclusive to, but made with homestuck kin/fictives in mind

mu-/mut- is from the word mutant

pronounced with a long u (mū or mute/mūt)

the bottom one is mutantgender or muvasgender:

where ones gender (or lack thereof) is affected by their status as a mutantblood and/or their blood mutancy itself

can be tied to presentation

exclusive to kin/fictives, with homestuck kin/fictives in mind

vas- is a prefix meaning blood or blood vessel

muvas- is pronounced with a long u (mūvas)

muvasgender could also be referred to as vasgender (unless that already exists?)

I would love to coin some lovely terms! these are fruit-related gender identities. fruitgender: a gender that is either a fruit or is tied in someway to a fruit! cherrygender: a gender connected to cherries or is a cherry! may feel lukewarm and red and sweet! blueberrygender: a gender connected to blueberries or is a blueberry! may feel blue and sweet! plumgender: a gender connected to plums or is a plum! may feel purple/rose colored and sweet! peargender: a gender connected to pears or is a pear! may feel green and sweet! no flags yet, but anyone who wants to make them are welcome to!
