CHAPTER 2

“Ronnie! Wake up!!” Frankie called out as he made two bags for lunch “Sawyer, Darling, Wake the girl up please” Frankie said looking over at Sawyer who was looking at the newspaper and drinking coffee

Sawyer nodded then set both items down on the counter before getting up and knocking on Ronnie’s door “Hey, Kiddo? Ya gotta get up soon” He said unaware of Ronnie who was already up and just tying her rollerblades on

Ronnie sighed as she sat on the floor up against her bed, It was a messy room with hardly anything inside including her own stuff. She grabbed her duffel bag and dumped it out, emptying it so she could use it as a backpack then She rolled over to the door and opened it, squeezing past Sawyer and zooming over to the kitchen “Careful!” Sayer exclaimed “Here you go, Hon! I checked your medical history so I wouldn't put anything you're allergic to in there!” Frankie told her

Ronnie took the bag and put it into her duffel bag “Time?” She asked “6:50, You have ten minutes” Sawyer replied “Have a good day, sweetie!” Frankie smiled waving goodbye as Ronnie rushed out of the house

Ronnie breezed past all the people on their way to get on with their day as she headed to school watching students and teachers arrive, She paid them no mind and ignored most of the confused looks or friendly waves. She pushed open the front doors to the school then moved to a nearby bench where she untied her skates and replaced them for a pair of worn-out sneakers held up together by tape and old fnaf stickers

She stomped the ground a few times just to get quickly used to the feeling before she tossed her skates into the duffel bag and went on with her walk, during the walk she ended up bumping into somebody causing her to fall on her ass

She winced and looked up to see the hand of whoever she knocked it holding out to pull her up. Whoever it was, they were paler than fucking snow white same with their hair cause it was practically white with how bleached it was “You good, dude?” 

She hesitantly grabbed their hand and they instantly pulled her up “Im fine-” “Your new” Ronnie frowned “Im not saying that as a bad thing- More just shocked since that last time somebody new moved here was Gin” “You know Gin?” Ronnie asked, making the guy laugh “Who doesn't?” They scoffed before putting their hands in their coat pocket “Names Dimitri” He introduced “Ronnie…” Ronnie replied “Whatcha got first? I could show you around” Dimitri offered

Ronnie paused and looked down at her hand. The night before she had written down her classes because she didn't want to be walking around with the piece of paper because then she'd be the walking ‘I'm new!! Pay attention to me!!’ sign

“No… Just- tell me where I can find uh- AP History?” She shook her head “Oh yeah, uh- thats-” Dimitri paused “I think somewhere down the hall on the left?” He shrugged “... You don't even know where it is?” “I dont know” Ronnie sighed “Ill- find it myself, thanks for… Nothing?” She mumbled before walking away from him and then turned to the left where she was stopped by a teacher not letting her enter the class 

“Name?” They raised a brow “Ronnie. I'm new, i applied and passed” She replied “Not possible. I only teach the future scholars and you-... You are not that” The teacher bluntly told her “Alright fuckface. What gives you the right to decide if I am or aren't THAT! You're nothing but a sexist asshole who I hope gets left by his wife and kids!” Ronnie shouted

“Oh- Seems as if you'll be spending first block in detention” The teacher smiled handing Ronnie a pass “Looks like your not going to be in my class after all” He smirked while Ronnie balled her fists, She turned and stomped off to the detention room, She pushed open the door and took a seat in the back of the class. She tapped her fingers on the desk staring at the clock while three other detention kids walked in "Your late" the lady watching them said

Ronnie’s eyes didn't leave the clock, She heard the sound of chairs being moved against the floor yet she payed it no attention "Veronica, Stop that insufferable sound-" "Ronnie. It's Ronnie, for the last damn time!” Ronnie snapped

The only other girl in the room looked around the room, She took a seat next to Ronnie while she pulled out her flip phone looking for a song when she landed on the song “Seven Nation army” by the white stripes

The girl then looked at Ronnie and asked out of sheer detention boredom putting her legs on the desk “So wha’d they dump ya in here for?” Ronnie didn't talk for a bit “Sexist teacher shoved me here so i wouldn't go to class" She scoffed

“Lemme guess, Mr Vorheeves?” The girl asked “Is that the prick’s name?” Ronnie groaned “Yep, He’s such an ass-” “Heey, Ronnie!” A voice behind the two exclaimed “Sounds like ya found AP History” Dimitri chuckled “You know her?” The short guy next to Dimitri grumbled “Who's the sonic sized raccoon?” Ronnie looked down “Go suck a dick!” the shortie exclaimed “Quiet down back there!” The teacher demanded only to cause the shortie to bark at her making her just stare at them concerned

“Furry-” Ronnie was cut off by the shortie biting her wrist “OW- You little!” She was about to hit back but the other girl stopped her “Santa needs his elves, They Are an endangered species” She snickered “You fucking piece of shit-” The shortie was stopped by Dimitri grabbing his head “You wouldnt hit a woman” He said making the shortie freeze “Thats a woman?” He asked “Okay yeah fuck endangered species” 

“IF I HEAR ONE MORE SOUND FROM BACK THERE I WILL BE GIVING YOU ALL SATURDAY DETENTION AND A NOTE HOME!”

The four quickly shut up and traded angry glares at one another, The other girl scribbled a few things onto a small piece of paper before passing it to Ronnie who hesitantly took the piece of paper and unfolded it

Ronnie paused then wrote back in a messy handwriting

Then she handed the note back to the girl, Nadia...

Nadia was laying on her bed listening to some of her music on shuffle with song Lets groove playing through pink earphones over on her MP3 player

Vibing to the music she couldn’t stop thinking about the prom dress she was going to wear being that she had like 5 dress options, but that’s what got her excited knowing she and Ronnie would have a bestie dress montage, the next song on her shuffle made her squee since Dimitri had sung his own version of the song which was :I was made for lovin’ you) by the band 𐌊𐌉𐌔𐌔, she couldn’t help but lip sync the song sitting up on her bed she decided to text Dimitri to come over and hang out, obviously secretly because she never told her parents about him sooner since her ‘ex’ cartel dad would freak out, and her dud mom would want to see if Dimitri met her expectations

Going on her text messages she typed : [Late night munchies -Miss u ♡࿎]

It made it all the way to Dimitri’s house where he was practicing his guitar trying to get a clean strum while working in his homework wanting to get over it quickly, turning his head to his phone he flipped it open and softly laughed seeing Nadia’s text, putting down his guitar texting :

[lmao u a psychic? Be there in 6 min’s Love u nads.]

Dimitri plopped down on his bed sighing contentedly knowing he and Nadia would be getting married when they get older, Putting on his shoes, Jacket, and beanie he yoinked his truck Keys+ Phone sneaking out back from the window to his room landing on the grass

“Oof-“ shaking it off he went into a more Forest-y part of the area then found his truck, unlocking he sat in the drivers seat and started it up then drove around a rocky area of the forest finally onto a road

Nadia was so excited she couldn’t stop munching on the gummy packs she had gotten from a secret stash somewhere in her room, hades laid on her lap cutely pawing at her face, Nadia giggled and played around with his paws saying playfully “wanna treat??” Hades tilted his head and whined with excitement sitting up with his tail wagging vigorously making Nadia laugh into her pillow before saying “Kk I’ll get you something-“ since she was sleeping up on the extra bed and not her circle one bellow she walked down the stairs going over to a Plastic jar getting a dog treat and A dog cookie her mom made for hades heading up the steps she noticed something off in her room,

the sliding door was slightly open and hades was being really quiet, she got a little scared at first being that she was home alone because her parents were at a hotel for their anniversary, so cautiously she said “Uhm Yo, dimi if that’s you then this isn’t funny-“ suddenly she was lifted by her waist “BOO!” “SHIT!?-“ nadia out of natural reflex smack the person that grabbed her off the ground “Oww??” Yup. That’s Dimitri “Oh my gosh I’m so so so so so so sooo sorry did I leave a mark??” Dimitri shook his head “Nope- no shouldn’t have done that, Man that was creepy as fuck..” looking at Nadia he moved some hair away from her face“ sorry bout that” Nadia sighed then looked at Dimitri’s face saying “Cool just never do that again, I’ll get you an ice pack.” Nadia went to her freezer grabbing one and wrapped it around a hand towel, Dimitri was greeted by hades who hopped into his arms licking his face “Heyyy bud, miss me?, You Diid???” Despite hades size he was just fluffy and not really heavy so Dimitri could easily carry him like a puppy. Setting hades down he ruffled his fur when Nadia finally came back giggling then said hi to him properly, then handed him ten ice pack

“Heya again dimi” Dimitri smiled and shook his head but took the ice pack and kissed Nadia’s lips “sup baby, sheesh this room got a whole new remodeling since I slept her last time, it’s cool as hell”

Nadia smiled “Yup got a little creative with this remodeling because I felt my room needed something, anywayyy c’mon the next mini floor had your snacks” “dope.” hand in hand the two made it up and sat with hades following behind them on the second bed eating sweet double gusher gummies, pringles, Red vines licorice And drinking 2 cups of a Cocktail mix Nadia made then the two had a huge time talking about how the school was gonna add a swimsuit rule for the pool, and how Tre was gonna supposedly stop going nice on the group but Nadia knew that, That was bullshit being that her and Ronnie’s cell at the jail was like a 5 star hotel room

“Like I know Tre says that but the pig’s all Oink and no Bite”

Both Dimitri and Nadia laughed at that, “also how’ve you been doing on the whole gin keeping your jacket situation? You get it back yet or is she still being stingy” Dimitri sighed and nodded “Stingy as ever. I’m over here trying to move on with the past but for some reason she kept my jacket, who knows maybe she beats it up on a pillow, or something else…but hey least I still have the jacket you guys made me” Nadia looked over at the jacket that was folded with some spray pains and sewn in patches + patterns the group all pitched in to pull off on a thrift store jacket

“Well damn, we did a good job, gosh I gotta start pitching there ideas at the clothing store.“

she laid down, with hades sleeping on his bed at the front of the second bed. Nadi texted Ronnie [The principal needs to be replaced ONG]

Dimitri then nudged her shoulder with the end of a fruit rollup candy in his mouth, Nadia giggled “Dee I swearr you’re silly as helll..” but loving him too much finding everything about him cute she took the other end of the rollup chewing while giggling as it got shorter making her sit up. Not wanting to choke the two finished on eating the candy then shared a sweet kiss, Dimitri wrapped his arms around Nadia pulling her closer holding her face with one hand. Nadia wrapped her arms around his shoulders, the two laid down on her bed with Nadia laying her head on Dimitri’s chest, he had an arm around her softly rubbing the side of her arm.

“Yknow you can sleep over, if you’re too tired to drive back.”

Dimitri was proving Nadia right when he sleepily smiled murmuring “Mhm..sounds cool..” finally falling asleep.

Nadia smiled and fell asleep herself,

-The next morning was a nice morning with a rare sunny day and good breeze that made the pool outside glisten, suddenly Nadia remembered getting up she shook Dimitri awake “Dee! Wake up, my parents are home-“ she heard footsteps coming to her room and her mothers familiar voice “My little Aphroditee~~ we’re home, oh my Zeus getting g back was chaos, the gas almost ran out, your father almost argued with the cops-“

Entering Nadia’s room she looked around and saw her studying with Dimitri “So like the Head of the cell powerhouse is the Mitochondria??-“

Her mother Marina looked suspicious then said “And who’s this young man in my house right now never told me you had a ‘friend’ coming over?”

Ronnie sat up in bed, her usually messy hair ever worse as she woke up from the sound of her phone buzzing, She grabbed it and flipped it open checking the text from Nadia

She replied rubbing her eyes as she button mashed the keys before leaning over to grab her glasses and then once she had a clear vision she re-read the text

She sent her text and then laid back down but got another text to which she groaned, Sitting back up and checking once again expecting Nadia

[Hey uh- So Dimitri isnt home so is it cool if i come ovr to give you his jacket]

Ronnie blinked narrowing her eyes at the contact name "Ripped ass? No, ripped hair" She then shrugged

[No :) He aint here and i dont wanna see u right now so go to Nadi's im busy]

With that, Ronnie muted her phone and laid back down "Take your glasses off..." Nil grumbled "Oh yeah" Ronnie said taking them off and putting them back before she laid back down to go back to sleep with Nil

Dimitri looked over at Nadia’s mom and smiled saying “Uhm yeah we’ve been studying bio for a bit,” getting up he waved “I’m Dimitri.”

Nadia’s mother eyed him up and down then said “Mrs Baros, and I’ve never known that you two were studying for something big?” Nadia sat up then said “Yeah we’re Uhmm, studying the cells in a body and what powers them-“ just wanting her parents to get out of her room so she could either spend more time with Dimitri or hang out with Ronnie and nil for a bit

Nadia’s father then came in and all hell would soon break loose

“What’s going on there a party in here?”- Dimitri and Lorenzo locked eyes before he turned over to Nadia saying “Nadia who’s this??,” she panicked then said “Uhm he’s my study partner we’re doing a project—Yknow what no, I literally hate making up shitty excuses, he’s my boyfriend.. so yeah”

Nadia didn’t even finish that sentence when her dad smacked Dimitri then yelled “YOU SON OF A BITCH YOUVE BEEN SEEING MY DAUGHTER?!?” But Nadia’s mother held him back calming him down “honey, calm down!!, she’s in highschool so this was gonna happen!?”

Her mother then suggested “Let’s have dinner, at noon hm? Then we’ll talk about this.”

"Id leave your jacket at the door but i just washed it" She called out patentily (And awarkdly) waiting outside in front of the door "Should i just like- hang it on the fence?"

Maeve found this patient fascinating, She wasn't sure why but perhaps it was the accent or the rather unique look he had or simply just the details of his case/file. Whatever it was, Maeve was obsessed with him

Watching all this chaos unfold the whole city was basically on a tornado lockdown due to tons of buildings being knocked down debris flying everywhere luckily they were run down but worth a lot.

A figure narrowed her eyes down at the chaos grinning as she watched the two fight knowing this was the perfect time to get rid of Dante

Dante threw a grenade at a building which happened to be the liquor store, going in he took a whole bottle of Tequila already irritated about Maeve telling him to play it safe, “Bloody helll I hate it when you turn this thing onto me” taking a swig before floating up on a hot air balloon still had a long length of rope making it easy for a person to jump on

The figure took out a black and white circus whip and jumped from building to building doing crazy jumps she was about to pop the balloon when all of a sudden she was yanked away from its aim, Betty used her whip and tried to wrap it around the figure but he released it from her grasp by almost ninja speed grabbing her wrist almost breaking it, Betty or Catwoman was surprised obviously struggling until she found out who it was

Watching all this chaos unfold the whole city was basically on a tornado lockdown due to tons of buildings being knocked down debris flying everywhere luckily they were run down but worth a lot.

Dante threw a grenade at a building which happened to be the liquor store, going in he took a whole bottle of Tequila already irritated about Maeve telling him to play it safe, “Bloody helll I hate it when you turn this thing onto me” taking a swig before floating up on a hot air balloon still had a long length of rope making it easy for a person to jump on

The figure took out a black and white circus whip and jumped from building to building doing crazy jumps she was about to pop the balloon when all of a sudden she was yanked away from its aim, Betty used her whip and tried to wrap it around the figure but he released it from her grasp by almost ninja speed grabbing her wrist almost breaking it, Betty or Catwoman was surprised obviously struggling until she found out who it was

Chelsea was barely taking out her hair rolls that gave her those pretty locks and waves the whole school knew her for, she’s what made the cheerleaders stand out. Her mothers been putting all this pressure on making her cheer captain from going to church every day after school to getting her hip surgery to make her double-jointed to preform dangerous stunts
