I find it so loveable how much Gabrielle chooses to see Xena for who she is trying to be, rather who she was.

It's not like Xena hides her past or her actions from Gabrielle, or even Gabrielle denials this part of Xena. She looks at Xena and acknowledges her intentions and desire for reparation.

How adorable is the way Xena looks at Gabrielle????? The blonde is all "hey, I found this walking stick!!!" and Xena, who has killed countless of people with the most different weapons and ways, just listens to Gabrielle and gives her the "omg you're so cute" look, takes the stick and does tons of martial art movements with it, just to give it back to Gabrielle!!!!
