                                it occupies the lap of the patient that alice is                                 currently wheeling down the corridor. it’s poised                                 with it’s tail wrapped around it’s body, unwavering                                  smirk, eyes locked with hers. 

                                                      “ I say we dump this vegetable and go                                                                 do something more... fun! ”

        “ Oh? ” 

              The cat peers down at the visitor, keen smirk playing               on It’s lips. It’s aware of the confusion that lies stagnant               in their expression. 

                                              “ Looking for something? ”

❝P-Please–”  She jumps at the sound of another voice but cannot seem to find its source. Her tiny nose manages a sniffle as  the girl messily wipes her tears away. 

                 “I jus’ wanna go home. ❞

               The cat easily slides off the branch it had been perched,                 taking on the form of a boy during it’s descent. An ever                 knowing grin etches itself onto thin lips as he gives a                             small huff at the child’s bemusement.

                                     “ Depends on where home is, girl.”
