My friend @chf1fan and me found the video that explains why Carlos had the blindfold on in Bahrain. Turns out that he had to guess racing tracks by tracing some sort of wooden race tracks with his hands...

I was so mesmerized by the way he's gently moving his fingers over those racing tracks that I made an edit out of it...

Hi, I'd like to know how do you deal with people being mean to Carlos all the time ? I like the blogs I follow and joking with people here. Everyone is really nice with each other but they say so many mean things about him or even wish him harm it makes me angry and sad :(. You don't have to answer if you don't feel like it I understand

I'm not going to lie to you, it angers me a lot. I think it's the one thing I get really anxious and irrational about because I don't believe in the things they call him or agree with the idea they have of him but I know that there are people in this community who do see him the way I do. I still find it important to remind myself that people have every right to not like him. When it comes to mindless hate or death threats, I get irate. Even when he does well and they discredit him, I get so unbelievably angry.

But I don't show that because this blog is a hate-free space and I don't want Carlos fans to see that hate. Even though my friends dislike him, they don't actively go out of their way to make hate/shade posts about him. And that, I do appreciate. I think curating your dash and unfollowing people if you need to is completely valid and you should do it if you want to be a fan of a driver that 75% of people have no positive feelings for. following are some examples i found during my time on tumblr. some more recent than others.

no hate against the people who posted this, its just very annoying and needs to be talked about

just say that you dont like him. thats fine. but dont make him looks like the bad guy all the time.

for this i dont even have words anymore. i see it way to often, that he gets put on the same level as the pervert. and thats simply wrong

one i cant find anymore was something like "he is very beautiful from the outside, the inside not so much"

well you cant only take one of it, the inside is such as much carlos as his outside. take it or leave it, but dont only simp for him if you cant stand his personality.
