Aolani - Hugs. hugs everywhere. ‘I saw you literally yesterday, but let me hug you, you beautiful person’ Lani’s not the type to pounce on someone. She will not, however, ever pass up the opportunity to dramatically run towards a friend or family member with some cheesy song playing on speaker via her phone. Lani hugs her friends very tight. She is smol, but she’s got a lot of love to give and wants to make people feel like they are home.
Andrea - Loves hugs, honestly. She’ll greet friends with a light squeeze. Happy occasions/sad moments mean she dishes out those bear-squeezes because she wants to let people know just how much they mean to her. Her hugs are very warm and open.
Chiara - surprise, no surprise, she’s not much of a hugger. She’s more reassuring smiles, and more likely to offer a supportive squeeze of the hand or her own shoulder to cry on/as a temporary pillow. Hugs are reserved for the people closest to her, and for moments where words aren’t enough - and these rare gestures of affection are made of calm, smooth movements which are all enveloping, much like an ocean wave. But you’re not left with the feeling of drowning. You’re left feeling like the ocean’s guided you somewhere safe.
She herself doesn’t mind hugs. As long as you’re one of her people.
Ella - Coven or not, Ella will make it known when she wants you in her personal space. Strangers, do not attempt. You will face her wrath. Her hugs are always (ironically, but not literally) warm, and accompanied by a kiss on the cheek. If the person is very special, she will lightly hug onto their arm for a bit, most commonly whilst walking. Her hugs make you feel welcome.
Elisa - Is a hugger, but is not big on prolonged contact, regardless of who she’s got her arms around/who is hugging her. It makes her uncomfortable. Her coven and close friends get big squeezes - not enough to squeeze the air out of their lungs, but enough for unspoken ‘i love yous’ and ‘you are important to mes’. Despite her flighty pattern when it comes to hugs, Elisa really wants people to know she loves them.
Jade - is more likely to rest her head onto a chosen someone’s shoulder, hugging onto their arm whilst nuzzling into them. #whatacat. The most loving of hugs are reserved for her parents, girlfriend, and friends. which means more nuzzling and just holding onto them. Sometimes she falls asleep on them. IS ANYONE SURPRISED?
Mag - Do not touch the vila. Let her approach you. If she ever approaches you. It could take a million years. Mag’s touch is very light, very careful. Her desire to comfort someone, or express relief, is always at odds with her fearful nature. Mild trembling and a rapid heartbeat are commonplace.
Miranda - Literal bear hug. A lot of love, a lot of affection, possibilities of bones cracking are high. Cancel that massage, all you need is a hug from Miranda, and your back will be gr8. Strangers get a very firm handshake. If said stranger is shady, that handshake is a damn warning, son.
