Now, if the character study, relationship focused, character is greater than deep plot aspect of the show is not for you, I get that. That kind of show isn’t for everyone. But the fact they started having sex day one and moved in together is NOT unrealistic.

And look, I read ChermChey months ago. It’s a strange story with very little depth - that doesn’t make it “bad”

Again, if it’s not for you, cool. There’s like a billion other shows out there and TutorYim have already said they have a DMD project coming up. I know it’s hard to wait, but be patient rather than trashing on something they clearly enjoy.

Thanks for all the patience with this last chapter of Life’s Contradictions. I’m going to try to get it out tonight but it’s been a very long week.

I’m running everything at work, I had 2 doctors appointments, and an interview this week 🙃🙃🙃 I’m just running on empty guys..

If not today, I promise with absolute confidence it will be up Friday night (depending on my mood after that interview 🤣) or Saturday it’s basically finished. I just need to read through and edit the 12k beast that is this chapter…

My goal (lofty though it is) is to post the last chapter for Life’s Contradictions this weekend. It’s a big chapter, right now it’s sitting at 10k, but I should be able to hammer it out.

I also have some ideas for other stories within that universe.

Yes the chapter is coming. It’s a very big boy 😅 and works been just abysmal

I think someone could argue that Arthit suffered from mild depression.

Especially, given how he admitted to Daotok at the end that he’d never considered or thought about a future until he fell for Dao.

Plus, you have the “hey Direk, I wanna die before you” scene. Which, while sweet in a way, is thoroughly tragic as well.

And the way he keeps people at arms length (outwardly). Proclaiming that he’s “bad” etc.

Frankly, I think this is another interesting parallel with Typhoon. Because, while Typhoon was certainly in more danger of harming himself, Arthit’s actions also rarely took into consideration his well being. Both were self destructive just in wildly different ways.

The slightest rot Daotok once associated with Typhoon before his friend had opened up and started to heal. The faintest smell of burnt paper and dissociated misery. It was the smallest scream for help. Brought forth like a bubble and gone just as quickly.'
