Lenormand card No.15 “The Bear”
It represents immense power.
I absolutely disagree with the notion that humans should subjugate nature (as humans are part of nature themselves).
Therefore, I depicted it as an optical phenomenon (the Brocken spectre) beyond the reach of physical force. Does it look more like a ghost than a bear? Ghost or whatever. If there's something out there that can stop humanity's madness.
ELDER TREE
It's said to be the boundary that separates death and life, and people sometimes have complicated feelings about its appearance and ecology. What is beyond those boundaries? How many of us have seen it? Why is there such unacceptable and horrific violence? Why do many people accept it (or not see it) and live without feeling?
This was drawn by me for Mrs. Hildegarde's “The Legend of the Elder Tree”. And the English translation process has recently begun. If you are interested in her stories, please help us with a donation. We want to get this to you as soon as possible.

I drew the cover and illustrations for “The Legend of the Walnut Tree” by Hildegard Holtschneider, a novelist (and science journalist) living in Germany/France.
It's one of the stories in “Château de Fleurac”, and based on nature and indigenous beliefs in the Perigord region of France. Château de Fleurac is currently only available in German/French, but eventually, she hopes to publish it in English and Japanese (Mrs. Hildegard sees parallels between the Perigord region and the nature beliefs of the Asian region.) I read it and felt that it's a story that “all people who live right with the land(indigenous)” would be moved by.
For various reasons, “The Legend of the Walnut Tree” will not be published until a little later, but “Château de Fleurac”, which includes it, has already been published in German and French editions!!🌳Her books are to buy also via amazon. fr and de.🌍
