"...." He'd gone and done it. Summoned his Armed Dragon level three, and... This was bad, he'd have to hide it. Never show he had this ability to anybody.
"You didn’t." Yusei looked down to the boy, who, in that light, reminded him very much of an old friend from a long time ago. With that Lava Golem in his hand, it couldn’t possibly be a coincidence. So he had left something behind… he wondered if Takao had even been aware before he’d died?
"Where do you live? I’ll go with you." It was still dangerous for kids in the streets of Satellite, especially as the day dwindled away into night. Security still seemed to be a little neglectful there compared to in the city; but Yusei knew that he couldn’t hope for everything to be fixed as quickly as the Daedalus Bridge.
"I live with my mom, she runs the scrap metal shop. You know Kumori Koyuma?" he stated, "I live with her." He only came to this place to build his decks. "You're that famous duelist -- Yusei, right...? Why you wanna help me out? I can get home on my own fairly easily." he added, as he looked out, course that meant he had to leave now.
Upon his perusal of the old Team Satisfaction HQ, Yusei had expected to see many things—their old maps, the chairs left askew, the mismatched and broken couches lined up against the walls. What he hadn’t expected to see was a kid surrounded by Duel Monsters cards.
Quietly, carefully, he looked to the table where the boy had left his cards. Lava Golem lay face up among the rest, among a slew of spells and traps that, while useful, didn’t seem to really fit.
"Are you sure you should be up here on your own?" he asked, breaking through the late-day silence. "It’s going to be dark before long."
A jump back, falling over one of the busted chairs, just blinking at the one who spoke. "Mom usually just says return before da--" a pause as he studied the shadows and blinked. "...She's gonna kill me." He grabbed the monster cards, lifting up one of the larger rocks to show where he kept his cards, tossing every single one inside before he pocketed the half a deck he was satisfied with. "Sorry if I --- Made too much of a mess." he added, well last time he'd strown his cards, a certain king had fussed at him. "I'm... Kouki."
How long had he been up here looking at these various cards? He wasn't sure anymore, having lost all track of time as he pieced together twenty of his monsters and he had a lot of cards. Now he just had to figure out which spells and traps would best compliment the deck. A sigh as he looked at one card in particular, "...." A Lava Golem. A frown as he let it fall from his fingertips and sighed, moving from that small table to where he could look outside. Do you... Ever think of mother and I...?

"You little shit."
"I was hungry."
"… At least give me a bite. Quickly, before he comes back."
"Sure!" he laughed as he offered the bowl to his mother
"Kouki. What have I told you about stealing food from him? It’s not worth his whining."
”If he didn’t want it stolen, it shouldn’t have been out in the open. I was hungry." he was eager to irritate Jack. …Yup his father’s kid alright.

Sorry Jack, the kid stole your last ramen cup. Swiped it from under your nose. But for his mother he'd gathered new scrap metal she might be able to use.
