Another round of PMD Characters! This time we’ve got the Staff that keep the guild running smoothly!

The nurse’s staff is made up of Allegra, the head nurse, Plum and Leigh as certified nurses, and Irene as a nurse in training. While they’re primarily in Guild only (helping anyone from the surrounding town, clients, guild members, and other rescue teams that pass through), but sometimes if necessary they’ll go out and do field work too with Rescuer escorts.

Saffron acts as the head chef of the guild…and the only cook on staff! (Which he doesn’t mind at all, he LOVES cooking huge meals!) When he’s not cooking and planning meals he can probably be found assisting at the cafe in town, or helping with whatever other Guild Work that needs to be done.

And finally the mail staff, consisting of Athos/Porthos/Aramis and Constance! They’re the ones that help sort mail that comes directly to the guild, distributing the help wanted posters, outlaw notices, etc. to the various boards inside the guild to keep them stocked with jobs for the dozens of teams coming through. 

Saffron is the only one without a visible Guild Insignia on his attire in these pictures, but it’s on the back of his scarf there on his back hehe.

I imagine since being a professor you don’t get sleep very often sometimes due to all the work how do you manage

You’d be right, though to be honest, I’ve had a hard time sleeping since before that. I have chronic insomnia, and even with medication I have a rather difficult time sleeping; not to mention, most medications that help me out more make it difficult to wake up, which doesn’t really work with my schedule, as you can probably imagine.

I haven’t talked about them much, but that’s actually where my Chimecho comes in! They know a move called Yawn, which while normally used in battle to put Pokemon to sleep, also works on people! Its the most convenient for me, because they can use it if I end up having only a short time to sleep, and I’ll still be able to wake up normally.

It’s actually quite useful for my work, and helps keep me rested. Not to mention it can be used on fussy baby Pokemon who need a nap, which gives me more time to do chores and rest before I get back to work.

Apparently with some people, repeated use of Yawn can make them fall asleep easier in general, so its not something I’d recommend for everyone, but because of my insomnia, it actually is the best choice for me!

((As for the days/nights when I just don’t have enough time to sleep… I don’t sleep those times. Its not fun, but you do what you have to, and I’d rather miss a day of sleep than lose a Pokemon to something preventable!))
