 The pager in which was laid on his nightstand woke him with a sudden burst of adrenaline. Glancing over to his digital watch, the time read 4:04. Why would he be paged at 4:04 in the morning? They all had the respect to let the man sleep, but unless it was important…

The twenty-one year old slid on his clothes with ease, then grabbed his pager, a picture; tattered and torn, and his wallet. Slipping them into the left pocket of his trousers, he rushed out the door and jumped into his car. He got to his office in less than a minute, the clock just turning 4:05 as he got there.

Ever since his sister was brutally murdered on his doorstep, there was only one thing he loved. His job.
