Hey! I was really nice just now, you saw, right? Â Â Â Â You all suck!
i am sure mademoiselle can remember when she was a little girl, when mr. cuddly was always nice to mademoiselle when she was sad
royalrisen:
The more the girl opened her mouth, the more Anya wanted her to just shut up and move on. âLook, no one cares if you are royalty or not here. Seriously,â she said sternly. Goodness, it was like talking to a six-year-old. âIf you are adult, go and act like it. You carry your own bags, and I show you where room is. Sound okay?â
âWhat would you know about royalty?â She dressed like a peasant. ChloĂ© didnât even want to take her half-seriously. The ladyâs compromise was reasonable, but she didnât want to do it. Carrying her own bags? What if someone she knew saw her doing that? âUgh fine.â She reluctantly went over to her bags and picked them up. Ugh, was her stuff always this heavy? âA401. And be fast.â

Adrien had to hold him back from wincing at the high pitch use of her nickname for him. It was something she used for years. One would think heâd be used to it by now but itâs been quite a while since heâs heard it. Was it always that loud? Before he knew what was going on, he was caught in a crushing embrace. Hugging her back he laughed. Nobody pegged ChloĂ© as someone who was strong, but this girl sure had a grip. âYeah, I missed you too. Now come on, these bags wonât take themselves up,â He said releasing her. Adrien nodded, once she had properly asked. Grabbing a few of her bags, he waited for her orders (that were sure to follow), âSo, where to, madame?â
Oh Adrikins was so cute. It was really hard to pay attention to anything else when he was practically flexing as he picked up her bags. She could just die right there! He stopped moving and she assumed it was because he was waiting for her. She didnât know what he said but she did know was that she did care a little bit enough to try to figure it out on her own. âOh, well my new room is A401. Is it near yours? I hope so! We could complain to whoever and be roommates if you want to, Adrikins! Wouldnât that be fabulous?â

The weather here in California was something that Carter would never stop loving. Growing up in San Diego, Sacramentoâs environment didnât have many differences from his hometown, but that was something that Carter enjoyed rather than having the opposite feeling toward the situation. Heâd just walked out the compound to enjoy the bright, sunlight day when Carter crashed into the strange blonde that had been standing right outside. âOops, Iâm sorry!â Carter apologize quickly, backing up and brushing himself off. He went to brush off the girl as well, but decided against it at the last second since he wasnât sure how she would react to having a strange man touching her without properly meeting first. He hadnât heard her question to another person walking by, but eyeing the bags on the ground, Carter put two and two together. âLet me make it up to you, can I help you with these suitcases?â he asked with a friendly tone and a kind smile on his face, pointing the bags sitting on the ground below them.
Of course. To make worsen her situation, she was bumped into by a weirdo. ChloĂ© couldnât believe she was having such rotten luck. Maybe American wasnât as great as people said. She took all those English lessons for nothing! âExcuse you!â She shrieked, turning to face him once she was able to steady herself. âThese clothes are designer! They are worth more than your life! I cannot believe you-â She stopped herself. Did he offer to carry her bags? She blinked at him, forcing a smile on her face. âI mean....Oui! Of course you can help me with my suitcases.â

How on earth could one person be so incredibly infuriating? ChloĂ© had been around for a full minute, maybe, and already, sheâd made Marinetteâs mood turn sour. It was a talent, but not one she appreciated. Taking deep breaths, Marinette tried to force the âbe the change you wish to see in the worldâ mentality back. âIâm satisfied with what I have, itâs not my fault you arenât.â She turned around again, putting her magazine up to her nose to avoid making eye-contact. âMaybe if you ask someone at the reception desk nicely, theyâll help you with your bags.â
She scoffed. She was so satisfied with her life. She had it all on a silver...no...golden platter! Marinette wouldnât understand real satisfaction if it bit her in the butt. She wanted to swat that magazine Marinette put to her face but she wasnât going to lose her temper on the girl. Not yet at least. âWhat if I asked you nicely? Youâre the only person I actually...know here. At least enough to think you wouldnât steal my stuff.â

Really, after years and years spent together, nothing ChloĂ© said should have been able to throw Marinette off, and yet⊠there she was, absolutely flabbergasted at her ignorance. âIâm glad my misfortunes amuse you, ChloĂ©,â she crossed her arms, not really in the mood to bicker, but always ready to put someone in their place if she felt it was justified. âThe majority of the people on this entire planet have no possessions at all, and youâre surprised at having to find your own means of carrying some luggage, which, I might add, is probably more than twice what I brought. Hilarious indeed,â she muttered, now frowning.
ChloĂ© just shrugged. Marinettesâ misfortune really did cheer her up, but it still wasnât enough. She wished Marientte would actually get upset, lose her temper, something entertaining; but instead she was, annoyed at best. âYouâre acting like me having twice of what you own is a bad thing. If I had the same amount of stuff you did I would have to immediately go to the next outlet mall and buy three times the amount of stuff.â

Henrik carries a cardboard box full of odds and ends, the supplies for his latest invention, across the lawn and towards the compound. Heâs been brainstorming ideas for his unnecessary difficult coffee maker for weeks and has recently started experimenting with different triggers for the milk and sugar portion of the contraption. An unfamiliar voice breaks through the usual hush of the campus and the boy stops in his tracks. A majority of the girl is obscured by the pile of random objects in his box, all except for a shiny blonde ponytail. âIâm sorry,â Henrik blurts out, âabout your day. Youâre new, right? Was it the airport? âCause, you know, airports can be pretty dreadful.â Heâs obviously got his hands full but heâs never been the type to say no. âOh, well, I ââ he adjusts his hold on the box, using his hip to hold it up so that he can free one of his hands, âYeah, Iâll help. Whatâs your room number?âÂ
This boy was hopelessly adorable and the fact that he was actually giving into ChloĂ©âs demands made him a keeper in her book. Heck, his hands were already full and he was willing to still help her out. So she smiled at him, kind of genuine for once and picked up one of her bags to hand to him. âOh youâre such a darling! And yes the airport was horrendously dreadful. Is that just some American thing?â She went back to her phone and scrolled through her messages a little bit. âIâm A401.â
dawsonsykes:
Seeing a new face around the constellation compound wasnât anything to write home about. Heâd been living there for months and still didnât know the names of most of his fellow astranauts. Occasionally, heâd be forced to exchange pleasantries when crossing paths with someone in the corridor or the common room but heâd managed to scare off the more impetuous ones with good old fashioned cynicism and a dry wit. Now en route to his own dorm room. the boy is stopped by a yet another new arrival. One glance at her pile of designer luggage and heâs certain this is the type of girl heâd like to avoid, she reminds him of all the snooty socialites that attend his fatherâs galas. As she babbles on, Dawson unsuccessfully tries to repress a snort. âNow why would I do that?âÂ
ChloĂ© glared at the boy. He looked as annoying as he was being already and she just didnât have time to deal with little boys who wanted to start a fight. She flipped her hair and let her eyes go back to her phone as she spoke to him. âBecause Iâm growing impatient with how incompetent everyone here seems to be and I will be extra annoying if I donât get my way. Thatâs a promise.â
royalrisen:
Anya narrowed her eyes at her, shaking her head. âWhy would I joke about being helper? I am Astranaut like you.â Glancing at the blondeâs attire, she only had to assume she was the type of girl that came from privilege, as if the whole world had revolved around her. âWe do not have helpers here, sadly. Only people that want to help those that ask nicely. Not call random people and expect them to do things they can do. You are not child, are you?â
âOh. Donât call me that. I know itâs like...the technical term or whatever, but I think the nameâs tacky.â She couldnât believe what this girl was saying to her.No helpers? This had to be a twisted joke. âOf course Iâm not a child,â she sneered. âI just know that I deserve to be treated like royalty because, well, I practically am.â
kingjeonharu:
after what seemed like an eternity of deciding which shelf suited which books, haru had finally finished unpacking the essentials that he had brought, all six cases of things. to treat himself, he knew that a walk around the compound was in order, to get acquainted to his surroundings. he had just become familiar with life in cardiff when his acceptance to astra was delivered, and he was eager to get used to this situation a little faster than the last. walking down the path, his attention was caught by a blonde just standing there. as she spoke, a small smirk grew on haruâs features. âwell iâm not sure where your room is, but there are two buildings, a and b. Itâs all relatively straight forward, Iâm sure you wonât get too lost.â he smirked, a deep voice with a rather thick korean accent coming out.Â
ChloĂ© was aware that she was representing Paris now that she was in the States. She was very aware that her father would probably hear about all of the stuff she does and that she should think about him when it comes to her image here. But then again, she was never the type to not be herself. So she rolled her eyes at him pointedly before forcing a smile. âRight. Well like, I could give you my room number and you could carry my bags to my room. That seems pretty fair to me. Since you were so...helpful.â
mitchsanderson:
mitch was extremely put off when the girl waved a hand in front of their face, pouting a little before tapping their throat and then putting their finger to their soft lips, like the sign to be quiet; only implying that they were the quiet one. pulling out their sparkly phone, mitch typed for a moment, before a robotic voice came out of the phone. âIâll help you, if you say please.â
That stupid word. For a second she thought about Adrien and how before he left, he was teaching her how to use her manners. It was almost embarrassing how hard it was for her to utter that stupid word. But when you didnât need to use it most of your life, it felt stupid to have to use it now. âUgh. Pl...Please donât make me ask again.â
ladyxchance:
Marinette wasnât having any of ChloĂ©âs trash-talking today, or any day. âI donât see whatâs so funny, seeing as this place exists to make peopleâs dreams come true. That includes mine, or else they wouldnât have accepted me.â It had to mean that ChloĂ© was here to fulfill her own dreams, which made her comment even more ridiculous, in her own words. Even though Marinette was the tiniest bit curious as to what ChloĂ©âs dream could be (the girl had everything her heart desired, what more could she even want?), she didnât want to play into her obsession with talking about herself, so she didnât ask. âA bellhop? This isnât a hotel, though. Youâre - weâre expected to take care of ourselves, actually.â ChloĂ© definitely wasnât suffering, she was just being petty and immature. As usual.
âItâs hilarious, Marientte. Some people like, donât have enough money to get what they want and come here. Like you. I just canât believe thatâs a real thing sometimes.â She didnât want to get into too much detail about her purpose for being at Astra. It wasnât the same reasons most of these people entertained the idea of the program and ChloĂ© likes being a mystery. It meant more people talked about her. âTake care of...ourselves? Youâre joking, right?â
