Landscape interrupted second attempt

This was my second attempt at this task and I feel I did better at concentrating on what the task actually was. (minus the waterfall images)

This was my first attempt at the landscape interrupted task and as can be seen, I went a bit off task for this, I just ended up taking pictures of everything in the landscape, even if there was no human intervention

Zine Contact Sheets

Below are my contact sheets from the Zine project. I chose to shoot this when I was out on a walk in Aviemore, I was heavily inspired by the unique shapes and sizes and species of all the trees around that I just felt like I wanted to base my zine around it.

Creative Carbon Still Life Contact Sheets

The idea behind my Creative Carbon Still life was all about bike safety in relation to Recyke-a-bike. I started off by using a helmet, bike lock and key, bike lights and a head torch. However during the shoot I ended up taking most of these out or repositioning them in a way that better suited it. I wanted to get across the idea of how important bike safety is if you’re ever out cycling.

Final Attempt Creative Carbon Contact Sheets

This was my second and final attempt at the Creative Carbon brief and I chose to do some images for a company called Recyke-a-bike who take old bikes in and either repair them and sell them on or use them for new bikes or even take them to bits and recycle them again.

This was my first attempt at the Creative Carbon brief as I had previously worked with this eco-friendly company so I offered to do some more images for them to showcase how their products were made and how they were made with non-toxic ingredients etc.

Glassware Final Edit Process

I began by using the pen path tool to create a selection of the Guinness label as I had lit this differently to the rest of the bottle. Once I had done this, I used the move tool to move the selection below to the second image which I used to light the sides of the bottle.

Below you can see the selection which has been moved over from the other image which is in the layers panel.

Something Told Editing Process

Below shows what I did to edit this image. I used the curves layer to brighten up the miniature clock as it was slightly in shadow.

I also cropped this image as I feel too much of it was in the dark, I feel that this was the right thing to do as the light sort of guides the viewers eye through the image as it forms a sort of arrow shape to the right and the brightest point of the image being on the left.
