- Final Major Project 1, Final Piece -
This is my final pilot piece for major project one, I decided to attach all of the different fabric tests I had done to one t-shirt as I felt it added to the ideas of chaos, fear and confusion that run through my work.
I have decided that for my final pieces I will use this collaborative method alongside simple screen printed images onto the t-shirts.

White Ink Printing Test
- Final Major Project One -
I wanted to experiment with my prints more by printing onto different fabrics and trying a white ink as well as black. I printed onto four different fabrics that I felt would give a new and interesting effect to my images. I wanted fabrics that had more texture than the standard white cotton fabric that I used initially. I did this because I wanted the texture of the fabric to add an extra element of confusion, anxiety and uncertainty. I really like the way all of these turned out on the different fabrics that I tested out and would like to try and combine then into a t-shirt and see how they work together collectively.
- Screen Printing T-Shirts -
These are the first single image plain white cotton t-shirt images that I have printed. I really like how these came out overall but I would like to try some more fabric and/or colour combinations to try and flesh out my ideas more.
- Screen Printing Tests -
These are some initial screen printing tests that I did with my first four final images. I started out all of my prints on simple white cotton fabric as I want to print my images onto t-shirts.

These are the screens that I mad up, I used two images from each shoot that I felt best represented what I am trying to convey through my work overall.

- Shoot Two-
I tried to mix my style between street photography and fashion photography with the added element of the double exposure. The two genres I have taken inspiration from are genres that to me, represent my peers and generation. The double exposure and subsequent roughness of the screen prints aim to represent the feelings that I believe my peers and I are experiencing during these times.

Martin Dietrich- The Ghosts That Carried Us Away
This work was shot in camera to create double exposures in black and white. I felt like this work really inspired some aspects of my own work and meant that I wanted to investigate a different type of similar image making in my later shoots. I felt that the double exposures really visually represent the feelings of uncertainty and anxiety that I am trying to convey.

Test Shoot / Shoot 1 - Final Edit
With this set of edits I added more outlines and layered them in a gradient to add even more movement and distortion to the work. I prefer these images to the other edits as I feel that not only do they fit with my themes more but they also incorporate the image itself and the added outlines equally.

Test Shoot / Shoot 1 - Second Edit
For this edit I decided to move the outline that I had drawn to give a sense of movement to my images that would add to the distortion of identity aspect of my work. I preferred this to my original edits but I wanted to keep trying as is still felt like the line was blending into the rest of the image too much.

Test Shoot 1 / Shoot 1 - Editing 1
My first edit was a simple white outline around my model. I did like it initially but I then decided that I wanted the lines to be a stronger part of the image to add to the movement and the distortion aspect of my work.

I changed my images to black and white because I felt like the lack of colour in the images would focus more attention on my model and the distortion edits that I knew I wanted to add to them. I also know that it is easier to screen print an image in black and white rather than colour and I have very little experience with this medium.

First Edit And Cropping -
I cut down my images to the 14 that I found the most visually appealing and interesting. I also cropped my images down to a more square format where possible because this ratio felt like it fit my images more and I wanted the model to be the focus of the images.

Final Major Project - 1
For my final major project I wanted to use a different printing medium to those I have previously used. I decided I wanted to use screen printing as my final medium. After some thought about what kind of final prints I would like, I decided to print onto t-shirts because the idea of wearable photography was an interesting concept for me and something that I’ve never tried before.
I knew that I wanted my images to be street fashion inspired with a twist on movement and distortion.
