   “Oh—” Jihyo pouts a bit, brows drawing together. “My bad...  I automatically assume everything is about dancing, apparently.”

“I’m sure I wouldn’t be the first to think about it,” he replied, with an amused grin, a chuckle escaping his lips and into the device in his hands. “It’s narcissism at its finest, and I’m definitely not the most narcissistic person in the world. Maybe the most narcissistic that you know of, but c’mon.”

If he noticed anything, then he didn’t make a show of it– didn’t speak of it, didn’t bat a lash at it. Instead, he focused on the wall in front of him as he continued to speak and he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth before his response slipped from his lips in a slow drawl of uh-huh.

“It didn’t look like dancing to me, but if I was a sloth, I wouldn’t bother with moving, let alone dancing. Where do you even find these videos?”

   “Okay— if you say so.” She responds, eyes narrowing even though he couldn’t see. “You’re hands down the most narcissistic person I know of, perhaps you’ll take it as a compliment. I never know with you.”

   She frowns when he speaks again, an irritated grumble escaping her before she sighs. He never understood the humor behind any of the videos she sent him. Honestly, what did she expect from someone like Blake?

   “Well, it was dancing and that sloth is awesome. You’d be a terrible sloth. Also, I get them from this great site called tumblr. You should check it out sometime.”

sometimes it’s shown very clearly who’s the older one of them and other times there’s barely any difference between them. but at this particular moment, it’s obvious who’s the big child and who’s not. not that he minds it though, vernon is used to call kinds of shit by now so if she’d decide to get a fit because of his ( not so rational ) actions he wouldn’t mind. she could perhaps even use it. provoking and causing trouble - that’s all he’s good at anyways. that’s how far he bends. 

“you don’t wanna see my dead animals– aight that’s cool, ji. i don’t care.” he shakes his head and throws the topic in the trash. new start, new possibilities to tease and the that annoying litter brother no one wished to have. “so tell me more about your life. it’s been a while, i wanna know it all.” and sadly a part of that was true, it had been a while and he had missed her a lot but then again he would never speak those thoughts out loud. if he missed her, she had nothing to worry about. at least it meant he cared a little for her.

   “Alright.” She replies, voice a bit quiet. Jihyo never knew what the other was playing at, often leaving her a bit confused after they spoke. He was truly strange. Her brows furrow as he opens his mouth to speak again, taken a bit off guard with the rather large change in subject.

   “Uh- well, everything has been good.” She wonders if she should mention her potential leap in her love life, but she wasn’t sure if it was something he’d be cool with so she decides to avoid the topic altogether. “I’ve been practicing a lot lately, just because.” A shrug, arms crossing over her chest. “What about you?”

Eyes that had watched the woman quietly make hints about her peckish mood, holding her tummy, groaning here and there, so once she actually decided to ask him, a small smile forced his ivories to show. 

             “Go out or take away?” 

     “Really? I thought it was pretty obvious.”

     She gazes at him with a puzzled look,      brows drawing together. Jihyo hums in      thought at the question, having a small      debate in her head before answering.

     “Go out. I’m getting restless.”

   “I don’t think it’s that much of a problem.” Jihyo frowns, brows furrowing. It hadn’t been a threat, the people that moved in next door just seemed a bit weird. That was all. “Plus, I have nowhere else to go.”

   “My man is.” She retorts, rolling her eyes. “Although— he isn’t exactly my man yet. But we kissed. So... that has to be something right?” She shrugs, running a hand through her hair. “Anyway, he’s worth it, that’s all I’m trying to say.”

   “Well alright— I’ll leave you alone then.” The female pauses, arms crossing over her chest. “I really think you should tell someone soon, though. It’s unhealthy to keep something like that bottled up.”

“Have you been witnessing too much bullshit throughout the movie?” Baekhyun prompted, eyes flickering to the romantic comedy on the blown up screen and he took a sip of the water in his hand, “Because I think I might cry from how much bullshit you’re spouting– Hyo, just admit you’re crying.”

   “I don’t care.” She laughs, tossing more of the snack at the screen. “This movie sucks— now that you told me what’s going on, anyways. I was enjoying it before that.”

   “Well sorry for forgetting you speak multiple languages.” She huffs, crossing her arms over her chest before looking over at the other. “But actually— can you tell me what they’re really saying then? I don’t want to get it all wrong.”

   Jihyo sets the oranges down, eyes a little wide. “I wasn’t fondling them... I was just checking to see if they were alright.” She frowns, brows furrowing. “You check them, then. Go ahead, fondle the fruit.”

   “Are you calling me a dumbass?” There’s a pause before she breaks into laughter, bending over to pick up the boxes she had accidentally knocked over. “It was only an accident. Surely, it was the store’s fault for making them so easy to knock over.”
