Oh... oh- Of course Jiyan was the one who orchestrated this whole circumstance. A brief stiffening of his body did little to hide his irritation at the revelation, shoulders ultimately dropping with a heavy sigh. Placing someone in charge of him, to supervise him as though Geshu Lin was merely a trouble-making child. A more rational part of him could very well see the reasoning why such a measure would be necessary. It was as though an inferno was seething beneath his skin, a prey animal jolting to strike back at the slightest instance of a perceived threat. He couldn't be left to his own devices, lest he burn himself down. Yet. Another aspect of his being argued that it was an act of condescension. Jiyan not viewing him as capable. As nothing more than a danger to himself that must be watched after.

"I have no say in this matter, then, do I?" His annoyance was briefly broken by the sensation of a chilled surface brushing his ankle. Molten gold gaze ever so slightly softened as it settled on the Echo at his feet. "I'm fine. Really." It must've noticed he was gone...

"Well, I hope you can handle burn injuries." And there it was, tone once again returning to its usual gruff sound as he continued on his way, the icy Echo gladly waddling alongside him. He'd heard whispers of a new Tacet Field forming. And, oh, he'd be a fool to miss an opportunity to quell it.

{Got the B12 & once I get my vitamin levels checked, I’m gonna get the shot every three weeks instead of monthly. Bc I get this exhausted downward spiral when the time comes for the monthly one- So hoping every three weeks instead will help.}
