please, help content creators

with tumblr’s no-more-n.sfw purge already going strong, randomly flagging image posts just for containing a colour that resembles bare skin, we gotta have each others’ backs here, folks!!

if you come across posts that have been flagged even tho they are completely PG, let their creators know, please!!

because despite what they are saying, i have yet to receive a single email notices from tumblr about the 5 newly flagged posts of mine, and it’s been the same for other artists and gifmakers i’ve contacted since last night after noticing something of their’s had been flagged.

they flag posts, but they do NOT (yet? always? ever?) tell creators about it!

having our creators’ backs is especially important for those who have attached their work to reblogs of already existing post, e.g. creator sees image post that inspires them to write something (fictional or non-fictional) or create artwork in response to the image, then reblogs original image posts and adds their work in the captions to it -im sorry i cant find better examples right now, but i know response works like the ones link here exist for n.sfw posts as well-, bcos they will never get notified by tumblr since the original posts aren’t their own, but their reblogs containing new works will disappear nevertheless

Christmas Requests

Ok, so I’m a horrible person. I completely get it. I can’t stay on schedule, and I can’t keep my promises about writing requests. I just haven’t been able to get on, and with finals coming up, I’ve been hunkering down on my work. 

I know, I know. ‘You said this last time’

I did, and the stress almost killed me. Would you rather have fanfiction that really sucks, or a dead writer?

‘If you can’t commit to the blog, just delete or archive the blog.’

See, I would, but this blog is my first blog that I ever had. It’s too precious to me to just delete. But hey, I’m giving you a chance to request something for christmas, since I’m on break now. 

That’s right. I’m nuking all the requests I have to give me a stress-free plate, and allowing everyone to request something for Christmas. However, I’m capping it at five, so you better be fast. This is first come, first serve, so you better get to it. Once I get five, I’ll begin to work on them.

RIP Stan Lee

Stan Lee has greatly impacted all of us, whether civilian or celebrity. In all of our hearts, there resides a special place for the one we called the Father of Marvel. With every character he created, there became another connection; another resonating vibration that we could find comfort in.

It doesn't matter what has happened in the past, what you do or don't agree with, or what you believe. The effect this man has made on all of us, and the love we have for him, will always be greater than any hatred a person will have because we know how to forgive.

Stan Lee practically raised me, my mother, and my grandparents. In a way, he was my family because his stories were what I heard growing up. His stories were what I read, and what I will always read. His stories were what shaped me into the person I am today.

Tears fill my eyes as I write this, and I find that I wish for nothing more than the rain to wash me away. However, I know that this is not what Stan Lee would want.

So I say this to you, Stan Lee: Thank you. Thank you for showing me what it meant to matter. Thank you for showing me what it meant to be human. Thank you for showing me what it meant to be a hero. Thank you for creating a world that I could escape to fit a while when this one became too unbearable.

And so I say this to you, my fellow Marvel fans:

Remember him through the stories we create. Remember him through the characters that came from within his heart. Remember him through the pictures, the cameos, and the movies. Remember him with a smile.

Remember him, for he remembered us with every story he wrote.

Poll results

So, the poll got to 34 votes, and the one that won was Bucky Barnes x Virgin! Reader smut. However, since I said the poll would end at 30, I redacted four votes from the winning option, which tied it with Peter Parker x Rogers! Reader fluff.

So, that being said, I will be writing the smut and then the Parker fluff, then everything else (most votes to least votes). Thanks for helping me make my decisions since I'm an indecisive idiot!
