to be clear the metaphor i was referring to is how capitalism/the west essentially absorbed nazism instead of eradicating it, with only the barest attempt to hide that fact.
you could also make a statement about corporatism and how our government is fascism in service of capital, and it maintains that capital through violence, imperialism, and genocide with a screen of "democracy". the US is the nazi empire sponsored by hamburger companies
footnote: nazis in the notes, kill yourselves. also, saying shit like "ha ha nazis get replaced by hamburger usa usa!!!!" is dumb as fuck.
