“New month, new start.”
The nice thing about a fresh month is that, for most people, it feels like a perfect time for a little fresh start. Regardless of how awfully organised your life was last month, this month is going to be different.
The sad thing is, we often use it as an excuse.
We constantly tell ourselves that we’ll be better next month or we’ll start that project next month. But, we never do. I guess, what i’m trying to say is that we need to stop using a new month as an excuse, but a reason to push on further.
Instead of making it the starting date for change, we make it a deadline. Give yourself up until the end of the month to get back up to scratch. Therefore, the changes, you want, happen sooner and you are now given a time frame with which to accomplish them by.
With every new month, we progressively become better, instead of just saying that we will.
