Itâd gone from happily engaged, living on the top of the world, to being over before Joshua could even have a minute to comprehend. Â With Chase back at his parents, able to see a life outside of the Haus, it was beautiful and all that he could hope for - one that Joshua couldnât give him as now his life revolved around this business. Â He left randomly, small trips here and there, but he couldnât imagine leaving it to start a life - not when he was still in his prime, the Haus needed him. Â With their lives heading in different directions they did the best they could, severing the relationship although it killed the both of them. Â Chase told him to look him up if he ever found himself growing tired of the haus scenery, but by then a man like him would no longer be available. Â Joshua found himself somber at the bar, pouring another drink as he just stared at the amber liquid splashing into the glass, a sigh falling from his lips as he put the bottle down to pick up the glass - at least he was keeping it classy.
Christian hadnât seen himself at the Haus of Perses, or rather his mother and father didnât see him there. The place was not only in America, but it offered lavish entertainment that was unfit for a young and unmarried royal. There was a driving need to visit though, to stake his claim at the haus and defy his parents for a bit longer- they were old and dying, and for one reason or the next forgot what it was to have fun, something Christian desperately wanted to cling to. His eyes spotted Joshua Blackwell at the bar, the man who had extended the invitation to him. His family had known the Blackwellâs for quite some time, and even though they agreed with them for the most part, that didnât mean the found themselves enjoying what they did for a living. âJoshua Blackwell- you wouldnât be drinking your life away my first day in the states? Please tell me you at least still want me here.â
