it's been such a long time since i last uploaded a video on youtube, i'm very nervous but excited to come back to creating videos ! i've been building a lot lately and i thought it could be fun to film a video of me building a community pool in nordhaven for my current gameplay :) . if that sounds fun to you, feel free to give it a watch over here <3 !

do you use any cc or mods right now? even defaults? also, do you use gshade? i love your gameplay posts! it inspired me to play vanilla :)

to answer your questions: the mods i’m currently using are UI cheats, MCCC and a few lighting mods. for cc, i use a few skin details. but i don’t use any defaults or reshade/gshade .

it’s actually almost exactly the same as what i used when i was playing with my sims, thomas and martha, over a year ago !

i just updated my resources page, something i’d been putting off for a while haha. but I’ve linked everything i use there :) i hope that helps !

I really like your playstyle! I wanted to ask if other people's opinions about the game bother you, and how you enjoy playing without worrying about them. Lately, I'm finding it hard to enjoy the game because of all the hate in the community 🥲

thank you so much for the compliment on my playstyle, and your English is really well written! to answer your question, I wouldn’t say that other people’s opinions about the game generally bother me. I think it’s good that people are openly sharing their views on the state of the Sims 4 and the EA buyout. I would say though, that the people who are being very hateful specifically toward sims players do really make me sad.

I understand you so well when you say you find it hard to enjoy the game. To be honest, I’ve been sad, and I had to take a pretty long break from playing after hearing about the EA buyout.

I’m enjoying my game again now, for me personally it helped to take a step back from the online community and to stop buying anything more from EA. I see my game as my own little world with my little pixel people, separate from all the chaos going on in real life.

I’m sorry if my answer is a bit vague, it’s a difficult topic to talk about! <3
