people do know that they dont have to go bald if they go on t. right. like obviously we should evaluate the weird perceptions of baldness as this terrible thing and it shouldnt be this boogeyman people use to fearmonger against trans kids. but for me personally my hair is extremely important to me in terms of self-expression. it's not just about not being bald, i would feel similarly terrible if it were cut short or something. and since male pattern baldness runs on both sides of the family and my dad told me he started balding when he was around my age (19. btw.) i just figured i was boned, but i talked to my endocrinologist after i noticed my hairline beginning to recede a touch and she put me on finasteride and im fine. like. not every hair loss prevention thing is a scam or a gas station boner pill type thing. you can have control over your appearance through safe and clinical methods.
