Nufufu, as expected of a child such as yourself. No appreciation for literature. If I recall, all Rokudo Mukuro did was change the words to a silly little rhyme.

Recalled to Life || Closed

How long had it been? Days, weeks, maybe even months? Everyday seemed like the same since her miraculous revival. She was alive and she was aware she was alive but she didn't feel, well, alive. Over the course of the past couple of weeks she had nearly suffocated herself numerous amounts of times just to feel something, anything.

Again she clasped her hands around her slender neck. She dug her fingers into the porcelain like skin. Applying more and more pressure until her breathing ceased. For a few moments she stayed just like that, counting the minutes as the essence of her life slowly slipped away from her. The sickeningly sweet presence of death was enveloping her until the very last moment when her arms suddenly fell limply to her sides. A purple hue of finger prints appeared across her pale skin. Another set of bruises to add to the rest of the lot, she thought as she gasped for air. As new-found oxygen filled her lungs she nearly felt like she was actually living once more but it was a short lived sensation. 

The numbness encompassed her once more leaving a clouded look in her single violet eye. The ravanette stared down at her hands and studied the fresh blood under her nails. She looked up from her bloodied fingers, searching for the nearest source of water. Her gaze landed on a tiny stream not too far from where she was currently standing. The mist guardian made her way over to the small body of water and crouched down in front of it. She slowly lowered her fingers into the water, submerging her hands in the icy cold liquid. She had not expected the water to be so cold but she welcomed the freezing temperature anyway.

She kept her hands in the water for quite a while. She slowly began loosing feeling in her slim digits. Maybe they would turn a deep indigo from lack of blood? She thought to herself. I really love indigo. More pointless thoughts began to flood her mind. Her soundless inquiries ended there though, due to the fact that she had  heard a branch snap somewhere in her general vicinity. She refused to turn around since she did not want to remove her hands from their frigid grave. Instead she closed her eye and let her mist flames seep through her pores. Violet mist grew thick in the air around her and immediately picked up on the presence of the intruder. She identified the individual in almost no time at all. Her eye flickered open once more.

"Daemon Spade..."

She mumbled more to herself than to him. She seemed too preoccupied with cutting off circulation in her fingers to address the male directly.
