• honestly, she doesn't like you. i'm sorry. one of ashlyn's biggest pet peeves is unnecessary disrespect and arrogance– which you reek of.
• her opinion on you doesn't sway much until she sees you defending logan from barron's harassment. it didn't change much, but at least she can recognize some sort of moral compass.
• ashlyn quickly learned that your smart mouth wasn't reserved for humans after watching you give a dead phantom a tongue lashing.
• out of the whole group, ashlyn is one of the two that would actually confront you about your sour attitude.
• despite her natural aversion to face-to-face interaction, she sat you down.
• she basically told you to get over yourself and lose the shitty attitude. to her surprise, it worked. kinda.
• you weren't a ray of sunshine by any means, but ashlyn's intervention did motivate you to attempt to keep your slightly unnecessary insults to yourself.
• he doesn't like you either. aiden's no stranger to people like you– he's met and even befriended countless over the years of moving around.
• ben admitted your sharp tongue reminded him of shane, and his opinion on you was sealed.
• which is what he told himself, but it wasn't entirely true.
• aiden finds satisfaction in seeing people being put in their place, which you have no problem doing. he considers it a plus, honestly.
• the first time he saw you in a positive light was when you shot a hole in a phantom's head for lunging at taylor.
• after witnessing you pull taylor off of the floor and check for injuries, he made the executive decision to (not so subtly) try and befriend you.
• strangely… it kinda worked. the two of you weren't the best of friends, but his energetic disposition was enough to distract you from verbally berating a kid that shoulder-checked you in the hallway.
• ben has a nasty side eye and you are very well aquatinted.
• you were fortunate enough to share a majority of your classes with him. he's irritated and has developed a habit of rage texting aiden when he gets fed up with your smart mouth.
• aiden is two feet away. he heard everything and was just as ticked.
• seeing you in the savannah protect group had him PUNCHING AIR.
• after the whole sorrel weed house fiasco, you still had a project to finish.
• two days before the deadline, aiden and ashlyn both bailed on your plans to wrap up the project. that left you and ben.
• the silence was deafening. TRUST.
• one thing he did notice was your out-of-character patience. you two had to communicate at some point, and you sat surprisingly silent while he typed, deleted, and retyped his messages into text-to-speech.
• you two were civil from that point, and he slowly warmed up to you as time went on.
• he lets you grip his sleeve when you have the urge to snap at someone. it works 50% of the time.
• out of everybody, tyler is surprisingly the only group member that you had a decent first impression on.
• were you threatening to break his teammate's nose? maybe. in your defense, he was taunting another girl for her slightly tattered clothes.
• he isn't a fan of some of your insults, but he appreciates it when necessary.
• when it eventually gets too out of hand, tyler is the other group member that will confront you about it.
• "it's okay to keep your mouth shut. most of us don't want to hear whatever negative shit is gonna spew out anyway."
• he was 100% sure you disregarded what he said. for the most part, you did. but that stuck with you, for some reason.
• the change was subtle, but noticeable after a couple weeks of considerably less insults from you.
• tyler understands it, to a point. he certainly isn't the sweetest guy and gets irritated almost as easily as you do.
• eventually, you two developed the habit of giving each other nasty looks instead of lashing out at people.
• taylor's first introduction to you was before the savannah project. you joined the mechanics club a couple months before taylor.
• your meeting was brief– you popped up from behind a half-finished weld to nod your head and half smile before disappearing again.
• you didn't have much of an opinion on her– it was positive, if anything. on the other hand, taylor had a love-hate relationship with you.
• your attitude and arrogant demeanor irritates her constantly, but she has the biggest crush on you. she's embarrassed, you're oblivious and it's an odd dynamic all around.
• once your visits to the phantom dimension became nightly, you and taylor slowly became friends. very slowly.
• you two eventually become close due to taylor's persistence and shared trauma.
• between mechanics, group hangouts, and the phantom dimension, you and taylor spent a majority of everyday together. you open up naturally– slowly, but naturally. she offers advice when needed and and comfort when it isn't.
• overall, very healthy dynamic. 10/10.
