like usual yapping below but it's mostly fun facts this time.

Strike sun is on some hater shit when they get to earth guys don't mind them. Although they can be an ass most of the time too. But anyways quick fun facts.

Chromism is a darker red/purple to soak up more heat in the cold

Strike sun often sleeps on their front + tends to nuzzle their head into the ground

They sleep on grass/leaf beds(nests?)

The chickens are usually chill w them but still skittish at times

Let robots be comfy... I wanna see them sleep with pillows n shit guys. also what chromism is talking about at the end is in reference to strike sun's backstory which is basically just... he was a street rat. yeah I'm uncreative guys. I'm gonna redraw their first meeting comic eventually bc it sucks. but yeah their cave is a little big even for them but they hang out near the entrance most of them time because... they're fliers. Claustrophobic *cough. Jk but strike sun is a little. But not the kind in fanfic where just can't stand to be inside just in a more uneasy way.

the fact his father lowkey left to get the milk lmao. but omg hes so concerned for Chi Fengyun. he just keeps insisting that he leave and go into hiding. he doesn't want him to die for the beliefs that he taught him.

but man why does every season have to end on a cliffhanger? but prediction for season 4 (if we get one that is) uh maybe Chi Fengyun tries to convince him again and fails. i dont think he'll wanna hurt his father and hes probably not beating him in a fight so maybe he'll just run away or something idk.

Recently made the colored sketch page and the rest of these are old art. I just draw very vaguely at all times usually.

But anyways onto what I rlly want to do here! One person asked for this kinda but I've been wanting to yap about this show anyways so ima just do that. Ima just say what comes to mind so none of the events of the show will be in order.

Btw this is all my opinion + I may be misinterpreting things bc of not understanding the language, etc

Okay I HAVE to start off with how peak s3 is! It feels kinda like a sort of... reboot but not rlly. It's a place where new fans can start watching and well old fans obviously r just enjoying the new season after 8 yrs. I love how when the first 3 eps dropped it introduced us to the characters pretty well and how it made use of its time. The animation, quality, character designs, etc are a big step up from before! I mean it has been 8 yrs so that's pretty obvious.

When you first watch s1 of the og show things are a little... uh boring. It does an okay job at showing everyone's personalities. But I didn't rlly get invested in anyone but Chi Fengyun tbh. Plus I'm not a big fan of fetch quests... it was a little repetitive/uninteresting but maybe I'm just being a hater idk. So that's why I rlly love s3! It makes me INTERESTED in the characters for once. Like I see what they were going for in s1 but lowkey badatong & che dapao don't seem that interesting.

Now the whole reason why I watch this show... (/j) Chi Fengyun. Omg i love this guy SO MUCH. I love his values/morals, his abilities, design, personality I CANT UAGFKDJD. Also side note Chi Fengyun's s1 design lowkey be lookin like empoleon lmao(the Pokémon idk how to spell shit) anyways I love his believing in your own choice thing and how compassionate he is. But he still knows when to take action. How he always tries to see the good in people. Despite how some may have wronged him. (117, Ye Xuanfeng) I cannot BELIEVE the amount of patience he had with Ye Xuanfeng. I would've been so done with his ass bro. And all that was BEFORE he told him about his brother. Also how he is so determined to bring peace to the two alliances. Despite all the pushback against him. Also one of the main things I love about him... how no matter what happens he pushes on. Everyone is always telling him he's too naive, never change the world, etc. Having their whole society basically hate him must be so hard. This is why I find the whole scene/situation that happened in s1 so like... relatable ig. If you don't know what I'm referring to I'm talking about when he fell into his depression coma thing.

Warning for mentions of su1cide(skip this whole paragraph if u don't wanna see that kinda talk)

So I can't be the only one who went "Oh he's trying to commit" at that scene right? Btw srry if any of my interpretation of this is like offensive or anything. My opinions on this are kinda based on personal experience. But anyways uh rewinding a bit on everything he went through before that point. He was struggling with past/origin, exposed in front of his friends, he literally DIED while trying to get back to them hoping they would understand, they thought he was a traitor despite everything they have gone through together, probs some other stuff im forgetting off the top of my head, a whole lot of berating(?) on both sides. So when he was overloads and falls into his depression coma we can really see how broken he is. How the world and ppl can break you down. 117 said "He doesn't want to wake up" The dark version of himself not only represents his past self but all his hate, fear, insecurity, etc he feels with himself. He tells himself all sorts of things along the lines of "give up, there's no place in the world for you, your dreams are stupid" we see him battle with himself quite literally and he is obviously losing. He isn't in a good place mentally. I feel like this rlly does hit home with how it be sometimes. So then he gives up. He's going to let it happen. But then 117 comes in. 117 can't do anything but support him in the dream like space. He doesn't fight for him but he supports and motivates him. And with that support he manages to snap out of it fight off his dark self. He fought through what he was going through and came out the other end alive. Idk ts is probs rlly obvious I just be sayin the equivalent of "the sky is blue" ANYWAYS- that's why I'm very curious as to why he's getting heterochromia(red and blue eyes) again. We all know it represented his whole uh... mental situation. Also fun fact whenever he feels doubt etc in the dream his red eye is usually the only one being shown. I think they may be laying down hints to him going down this road again in s3. The whole world hates him, everyone he comes in contact with tells him he's too naive and he can't change shit(EVEN Ye Xuanfeng you're supposed be on HIS side bro istg this guy) and when we see him kinda like spying on xun xingyi getting beat up we see him look away for a moment in hurt, shame(?) when the guards talk shit about him. Everytime Chi Fengyun gets mentioned in this show there's a 50% chance they're talking shit about him lmao. But anyways that's why I think he might get depressed or even su1cidal again. We'll have to see if the heterchromia still has the same symbolism as s1. But I know he'll work through it somehow.

Heyy ppl who skipped. Although I honestly don't think anyone will bc ik the internet/ppl dgaf about topics like those being brought up. Who cares if the warning was redundant ANYWAYS- wow this might turn into a Chi fengyun yap post atp. I was going to make my opinion on Ye Xuanfeng just as detailed too but my fingers hurt and I gotta feed my cat sooo we'll see. He isn't all that interesting in s1 tbh he just seemed like the run of the mill badguy who wants to "rule the world" dumb reason imo. Although he was a little funny bc of his crashouts and still is. I love his aggressive, aloof, but caring deep down personality. When we learn of his motivations which are because of what happened to his parents + protecting his brother that's when we really see more of him. How much he cares deep down. How he went through all of this bs just to take his brother away from the war. Oh btw if some of u don't know atp Ye Xuanfeng wasn't technically aligned with the Shadow Alliance even at the beginning of s1. He split off from them completely bc of what happened to his parents. Obvious yet again but just a reminder ig. Uh idk where to end this whole thing on his character. Next topic!

The main ship of this entire fandom.... Ye Chi. I love these guys so much. Chi Fengyun was so patient with Ye Xuanfeng and understanding. Pointing out how alike they kinda are. He never gave up on him because he knew he was good deep down. When Ye Xuanfeng had the fake out death he had really gotten close to Chi Fengyun by then. I believe that's when he truly did realize he truly cared for him. I wonder after everything in s1-2 we'll see him take a turn at supporting Chi Fengyun. But maybe not. That's not too in his character but considering how things were looking in s2 I'm not sure...

I find the structure of how the Light and (mostly) Shadow Alliances work a little interesting. It isn't the typical they have 1 leader and the rest are generals or commanders etc whatever. For those who don't know I believe this was explained years ago the Shadow Alliance works pretty interestingly. Yk the mud wings from wof? It's kinda like that. They do have 1 big leaders but they also have these other smaller leaders who control different galaxies. Then we have like uhh groups of different fleets of Shadow Alliance members. Like for example Xun Xingyi's father. He is a leader of his group but reports to Bierfa(I believe)who reports to someone else. And we have tons of these different groups. We also have outliers like Ye Xuanfeng(he isnt aligned but shush im using him for this ex. anywyas). Who aren't like a organized group but are kinda just out and about. THIS ALL MAY BE OUTDATED/MISINTERPRETED INFO. This came from the directors or ppl who worked on the show years ago. And the Light Alliance has a bunch of old leaders(the rune symbols/faces(?)) who are kinda in charge but then we have like the war department n shit. But I don't rlly get much of that.

I LOVE THE DIVERSITY OF THE DESIGNS. This goes for mainly s3 tbh. But I rlly find them interesting! How some bots dont have the typical optics, can't transform without certain things, altmodes, THE SHAPES. Idk if I'm being dramatic but it's rlly cool! It's probs not groundbreaking but like I said I find it cool af. Not to mention the weapons??? The lawyer(I forgot how to spell his Chinese name) has his floating "blades", Lei Jizhi and his brother's guitars, Bai Mie shooting literal gravity??, etc. I rlly love all the different weapons n shit omg. Also the special abilities in this show like Chi Fengyun's teleportation, ice powers, Ye Chifeng using his high temperature sword to hide himself (technically a weapon thing ig) Lei Jizhi using electricity. Also uh side note just making sure yall know these guys don't have genders. This was stated before and while some present a certain way to us they don't have genders. Idk if they are using gendered pronouns in show though.

Hmm that may be all I have for now(code for my fingers fucking hurt) but overall I LOVE this show and I see some more ppl getting into it/interested so that's great! The og show had its issues and so does s3 with the pacing etc but maybe I'll talk about that next time... I might make another yap if I'm bored

Soo I was originally gonna do 3 pages for this comic but I got very lazy. I mean this is an okay ending ig. But the original ending was going to be BH realizing SX was getting more uncomfortable as he shit talked HI. So then he would sigh and just tell him to come inside and pick out a movie already as they are keeping the others waiting. Not exactly happy either but better than this ending.

BH wouldn't apologize or really try to comfort him too much in the old ending I doing think that would be in character. He would just try to cheer him up a little bit. Maybe. Idk what I'm talking about. Maybe this is really OOC I can't write for shit

Visually I don't rlly like this page at all ngl. I was very tired while drawing this. I only kinda like the panels with shadow n heavy. I did this in the span of about 2-3 days so that makes sense.
