           steve wanted to fight, he really, truly did. but he knew that he was no match for wanda whatsoever. she was more powerful than anyone he’d ever met, and he’d met many heroes. the only consolation for him was that he could be there with wanda, that she knew that he loved her, and he wasn’t going to leave her side until she was gone. steve stepped toward wanda, standing beside her on the edge of the cliff. it was a long, long way down. if she were lucky, her heart would stop long before she hit the ground. “i’ll be here with you, wanda. i promise. take as much time as you need.” 

         wanda knew that Steve couldn't possibly win in a fight against her. that however didn’t mean she wanted a fight. she didn’t want to risk hurting him. she looked at him as they stood at the cliffs edge. almost instinctively her hand reached out to him as they stood at the cliffs edge looking down at the ground. “thank you.” she said softly not pulling her eyes away from the bottom. one step forward and she would be back with vision. with Pietro. with her mama and tata. “i love you Steve.” she said softly squeezing his hand as she finally turned and looked at him. “thank you. for everything.”

           gene had absolutely no idea what this woman was talking about, but the way in which she was talking had a shiver of fear run up his spine. the gun in her hands was not the only threat, her attitude and posture were similarly dangerous. “where to?” gene managed to voice, his tone just barely trembling as he shifted the car into drive and began to leave the parking lot. he was too scared to look back at her, afraid of what she might do if he saw her face. 

        aislinn made a face as she huffed slightly as she considered it. “i need to find Leland frost.” she snapped at him glaring slightly. he was supposed to know. “you sent the message. I don’t understand how could we have been wrong.” she shoved her hair from her face frowning deeply as she looked at him arms folding over her chest as she looked at him pursing her lips slightly.

            tim absolutely despised the fact that he was currently a damsel in distress. really, he’d never felt more useless. or annoyed, with how much these dumbfucks were yapping. tim tried and likely failed to hide his grin when he heard wyatt speak, pleased as punch to know that he was right as rain on the fact that wyatt would stop at nothing to get him back. because he was worth something, at least to him. “i don’t think they have enough braincells to understand what you’re sayin’, wy.” tim teased, too cocky for someone who was currently tied up.

         tim could ramble forever about music if no one stopped him, and it seemed that wyatt was plenty content with listening. “it’s like people forgot that music is supposed to have soul, ya know? like good music has always been good because the musician is throwing themselves into it.” tim continued to ramble, his expression extremely animated, yapping wyatt’s ear off like the only man had nowhere else to be. “that’s true. it just makes me feel so connected to my roots, which is nice, ‘cause i don’t really know any of my family. it’s been just me ‘nd my sister since we were teenagers.” perhaps tim shouldn’t have been oversharing, but he felt wholly comfortable talking to wyatt.

          galadriel looked at Elrond as she studied his face. like she was trying to steady herself as she looked at him. her hand grabbed his as she took a shuddering breath. she dropped her head against his shoulder as she took a shuddering breath. licking her lips she brushed her hair behind her ear as she looked at him with a cock of her head. “i appreciate you elrond more than I could ever put into proper words.” she said softly as she looked up at him fingers squeezing his hand as she looked at him biting her lower lip slightly as she looked up at him taking a deep breath.
