With a sigh, Paul stopped and stared at girl. He couldn’t help but notice how up-beat she was. She had no care that she was just cast out of her own universe. How could someone even be happy in a stuffy city like this? “Ughh.. You’re such a pain. Fine. If we’re gonna look for them, we need to get info from people.” Paul looked around at the civilians walking past him and the girl. He tried to stop some of the people, but they all ignored him, or cursed at him violently. The people back in Sinnoh were at least decent enough to give directions. 

“Grr, These people are horribly rude.”

The blonde didn't really bother to pay much attention to his comment. There wasn't anything wrong with the way she was, anyways. With a small shrug, she dismissed the comment and grinned. The point here was, he had accepted her help and now they were working together. It was a good idea. They wouldn't be alone and two heads think better than one, right? 

"You're not going to get people to talk to you like that, homie." It was a foreign place, with foreign people. They looked pretty busy, and she truly doubted that they were going to waste their time to give two children directions. Not that she wouldn't mind the help, but she was more interested in exploring Hive City first before really bothering with questions. 

"We should probably try to find our way around on our own, ya know?"

Paul was stopped by the blonde hair blue eyed girl.

“Huh? Oh, sorry. I’m the same as you, i have no idea where i am. As for your friend, I don’t think i’ll be of any help. Either way i need to find my own friends, I don’t have time to babysit some girl off the street.”

Paul looked over the girl and walked away. He had to find his pokemon that were stolen.

The young blonde couldn't help but huff, balling her hands into light fists as she glared at the boy before her. WHO SAID ANYTHING ABOUT BABY SITTING? She was just trying to get directions, and hopefully find Cake in the process. If he took her there or not didn't really matter, but he couldn't do so anyways. He was new, just like her, there was no way he knew his way around the city. 

"This sucks bigger than yoga balls ..."

Her expression soon changed as she smiled, letting her fists relax as she brought her arms behind her head and crossed them. "Hey, hey, wait up!" Fionna was too friendly for her own good, and had the tendency of helping those in "need". He had said he lost his friends, too, right? She was a hero, and heroes help people! Walking close behind Paul, she cocked her head to the side as she made her way through the busy crowd of the city, trying her best to keep up with him.

"Lost your friends too, right? We should look for them together! Ain't got much to lose, right?"

This was overwhelming. Being brought into a new place, a place you've never seen before. Anyone would be shocked, or confused. 

Not Fionna. 

The young girl stood in the middle of the street, blue eyes wide with astonishment and filled with curiosity. All these lights, all the noises. The ones back in Ooo were nothing compared to the ones here. So many different things she had never seen before. A few she could recognize because of the ruins back home, there were a lot of things here that looked like the destroyed scraps back at the junk yard. Oh, but that wasn't the point. The point was that she was in a new, exciting city and she was itching to go exploring. 

In reality, the blonde didn't really pay too much attention to the introduction. Something about some experiment and scientists. This all sounded like something Gumball would be dealing with, but she couldn't really ask him about it because he wasn't here. She had never heard of Hive City, and she had almost explored every nook and cranny of the Land of Ooo. Never had she come across something like this. Her gaze shifted to the people walking on the side walks --

Wait, ... people? She blinked once. Then twice. ... Were these actual people? Like her? There was a light churn in her stomach, but she ignored it. There was no TIME to get all soul searchy, not right now at least. It was time to explore first, ask questions later.

"Hey Cake --"

Oh, wait. Cake wasn't here with her, now, was she? Maybe she had gone exploring without her? If she had, then Fionna would have to take that up with her later on -- you NEVER going exploring without her. She is an explorer, an ADVENTURER. She did this for a living. 

She couldn't get carried away, though. She had to find her apartment first, or something. Maybe Cake was there? She'd have to find out herself. Fionna wasn't anything near shy, and so she walked up to the nearest person, and smiled.

"Sup! I'm kinda new here and uhh ... I need to find my friend. Can you help me?"
