chungha vs. bubbles ♡
harro harro! it’s great to finally be apart of this rp, especially since i’ve heard nothing but good things about it ^^ i’m really excited to be here and thank you to for your welcome messages/asks :3 chungha~nii is 21 and is a little husky baby (all hyper-cute and shit). she owns a cosy bookstore, with a tiny cafe attached to it called ‘Light Reading’. she’s very outgoing and wants to set chanyeol up with everyone xP but she’s definitely up for lots of cuddles and quiet time too. here are some really random quirky facts about, i would love to get plots going! so please like this for plotting, comment a word for a random starter and don’t hesitate to inbox/message me for plots or chats! xoxo
Late Night | open
The sand is warm beneath his feet, the lingering heat of the day not having left it yet. Yixing digs his toes into it and closes his eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath. The smell of the sea is thick and salty, the wind whips at his hair and clothes. The night is quiet. He enjoys the quiet, the absence of noise and people. It’s a stark contrast to the usual state of the world around him and he allows his insides to settle along with the breeze.
In the distance a few seagulls cry, he doesn’t let that sound deter him from the peace he’s trying to find. When he opens his eyes, he looks at the way the waves roll upon the shore and then pull back almost hesitantly, as if they don’t really want to leave. He remembers that feeling from when he was standing on a rooftop back on the mainland. He hadn’t wanted to leave the ledge either, but had pulled back hesitantly, because he’d known that his father - the one who adopted him but who felt like his true father - would not have wanted this fate for him.
Shoulders slumping as he once again faces the reality of the man’s unfortunate death, Yixing closes his eyes once more, in a vain attempt to keep the tears from forming in them. Luckily they don’t make it to his cheeks, and so he stands there for quite a while in the soothing darkness of the night. He’s taken a less tourist-friendly part of the beach, which requires making your way through a couple of dunes and bushes, in hopes of for once finding a quiet night.
It’s not long before the emotions start to overtake him again, and he does what his therapist suggested for him to do a long time ago; he starts to sing. Softly, trying not to break the quiet of the night too much, but he slowly sings the lullaby his mother used to sing to him long ago, when she was still around to soothe his worries and erase his fears. The Chinese almost feels foreign to his tongue, a realisation that pains him all the more because it means he’s truly forgotten where he belongs.
There were nights like these when she wonders around sandy shores of Mido, seeking comfort in solitude. The breeze gently whispering against her soft skin. She takes a deep breath, the fresh air filling up her lungs before she exhaled it free. Twinkling stars outshining the soft glow of the streets light behind her as she walked towards the secluded area of white sand beach.
Chungha should be used being alone, being an only child, meant she more or less grew up with no one but her parents. The pair who mostly spent their time at work rather than with their only daughter. She never struggled to make friends, although she always kept in mind that people had their own lives and she simply could not latch on to them. Irrespective of how close she was with them.
She should be used to being alone. But the gut wrenching feeling she gets on the days and nights she goes home alone, her cosy apartment loudly silent, voided of a warmth of another soul. Chungha bites her lower lip, as she feels herself slowly sinking into a spiral of self-pity and suffocating despair. She hated being alone.
So in order to fight those horrid thoughts and terrible feelings away, she goes right back out of her luxurious apartment. Going on an adventure alone, as she often refers to her outings, to make her feel as though she’s achieved something. Rather than just mope in negativity. In this particular night, her walk has been halted by a serenade, only to be directed towards the man sitting alone by the dunes.
She contemplates for a moment, whether to make him aware of her presences or not. His voice was beautifully hunting, his song a tad bit personal. Chungha felt like she stumbled upon his secret. Chewing the inside of her cheeks, she thought it would awfully be rude if she didn’t say anything now. “That was beautiful.” She called out softly, remaining in her spot, knowing she probably startled the lad with her voice interrupting his. Maybe she should have left him alone after all.
