at her comment, you open your wings up to their full span. you’d post with your hands on your hips all proudly if your wings weren’t connected to them. your grin only widens!

you didn’t mind some of the more harsh words they said. you could hear it all, too. whispers were loud as plain talking. heightening senses sure were useful. you were having fun, and that was what was important to you.

These lil’ dudes are my life at this point.” The ones that approached Tee are sniffing her hand curiously, eyes wide and alert! They’ve never seen anything like her before (the most exciting thing they’ve probably seen, however, is the large knitted Santa Claus that you made for Christmas last year for the shop). After a few sniffs, most of them shy away to watch her with curious eyes, while your bravest baby – Chai, the feisty tortie with three legs – rubs her head against Tee’s arm. “I’m glad you can fit too! Hopefully you’re comfortable and everything. I was a little worried about space but I think everything’s okay.” “Do you need something to drink?”

this one with three legs! you like this one the most. it going along just fine despite missing a leg reminded you of how you managed without sight. you let out a quiet squeak, gently petting the cat. a brave one, to approach such an odd looking thing without a care!

“ i wonder if vriska would let me get a earth lizard or something. “

you’ve been looking into the species of lizards suitable for being pets, and so far, bearded dragons are the ones you like the most! maybe you could convince her when you have the money to take care of one for yourself.

you straight up, giving the cat below a smile before looking to your friend.

“ seems so! good thing we’re doing this now rather than later. i was told when i hit around fifty sweeps, i’ll max my height out at eight or so feet. “

“ yeah! whatcha got? “

you were glad to see this place would be more suited to your larger frame. you look around for a moment before opening the door with no real second thought.

You’re currently in the kitchen, filling up two glasses with water for both you and her when Tee is transported into your apartment. As soon as she’s warped in, the apartment is filled with curious cat noises, as your four braver cats approach Tee. The two shyer ones stay close to your feet, unsure of what to think about the new figure in the apartment. Other than the large amount of cats, your apartment is pretty modest. One kitchen, one bathroom, a small living room and then your bedroom. Scattered across every room are your knitting supplies, various amounts of yarn and half-finished knitting projects (that you’re going to finish eventually! you hope). The tv is across from a modest couch, which you made sure to clear off before Tee arrived so she’d have some space. The TV is also set to Netflix and you’ve found a couple of 1 star horror movies that look like they could be a good time. Turning around on your feet, you look over and give Tee a wide smile. You’ve also been looking forward to this! “Hey! Welcome to Casa del Dave!”

you are initially surprised by the sheer amount of cats! you never seen so many in one abode, but hey, you don’t judge. you have no room to! you spent days eating random things just because you could and that is really just odd. you kneel down and hold a hand out to the bunch, in your other hand, the bag of chips. in truth, you didn’t pay for them. but no one needed to know that!

“ hey. you really do like cats, huh? “

that was just the first thing that came to your mind. you always speak what comes to mind first, and that is a curse. a curse you really don’t care about. these little guys are cute, though. you’ll give them that.

“ you got a nice lil place here. glad i can actually fit, hehe. “
