“Let’s break up.” Ryul says bluntly while looking down. Y/N looks up at him,
“That’s not funny, Ryul.”
He looks at her with a cold expression,
“I’m being serious.” he insists
“I don’t love you anymore, so let’s just break up.” He turns around and walks away.
Y/N gasps,
she sits up looking around her room. She grabs onto her hair and shakes her head. “What the hell was that about.”
She looks out her window and her eyes widen, “Fuck, what time is it?” Her eyes dart over to the alarm clock *7:30 A.M.*
“Im so freaking late!” She exclaims.
Y/N runs over to her bathroom and starts getting ready. She puts on her uniform, brushes her hair, and puts on her shoes. She quickly runs to her brother, Louis room; and opens his door. Inside, he’s knocked out cold without a care to his surroundings.
“LOUIS, GET YOUR ASS UP. WE’RE LATE.”
Louis rubs his eyes and looks at Y/N in confusion, “What time is it?”
“It’s almost 8 A.M. we’re late as hell, get ready.” She replies
Y/N stands outside her house, waiting impatiently for Louis. She taps her foot and calls out to him multiple times.
Finally, he comes out.
He mocks her stern expression, “Chill out, it’s only the first day. It’s not like we’re doing anything important.”
“You’re actually so dumb.” She adds, “Now hurry up and get to walking, if I’m even a second late I’m gonna beat your ass.”
As they walk, their next door neighbor comes out. He catches a glimpse of Y/N and calls out to her. She turns around and whispers underneath her breath, “Are you serious? Out of any day this could’ve happened, it’s happening right now?” She turns around and says unenthusiastically, “Hey, Ohyul…” Grimaces at him, and then continues to walk.
Y/N and her brother, Louis finally arrive at school, a miracle really. They walk inside the building and search for their class. Louis being very intelligent, managed to skip a grade and is attending the same class as her. Y/N and her brother finally find their class after endless searching and walk in. Immediately her name is called,
“Damn it, I knew we would get in trouble” she mumbles.
“Y/N!” the voice calls once again. Y/N looks up slowly, and makes eye contact with who is her best friend, (second fem!reader). She happily jumps and waves at Y/N. Louis look up and a small smile escapes his lips.
“We’re in the same class this year!”
Y/N smiles and steps forward, she looks to her best friend’s side and her smile fades, she freezes. Sitting right behind her is a face, one that carries hundreds of shared memories between both of them. He looks around and suddenly his eyes meet hers, his blank expression stiffens, his eyes widening slightly. There are multiple people in the room but it feels empty, the tension radiates through their bodies as if it were only them two inside.
“Y/N.” someone calls out repeatedly,
She shakes her head and turns to look, it’s her boyfriend, Woojin. He smiles at her and walks over, wrapping his arm around her shoulder.
“What are you looking at? You look like you just saw a ghost” he chuckles.
“N-nothing, I’m fine…” she turns and looks at that face once again. He looks at her and Woojin and a hint of suspicion crosses his face, he looks away.
“Ryul, long time no see!” Louis says cheerfully as he walks over, dapping the person up.
Ryul nods, “Yeah, it’s been a while…” He turns slightly, his eyes briefly drifting toward Y/N’s as he speaks.
Y/N glances back at him, unsure. Was he talking to Louis, or was he talking to her?
