Reo and you were both just goofing around while awaiting Nagis’ message that he’s awake so you guys could hang out.

That was until two guys came up to you guys seeming very excited but nervous over something.

“.. do you guys need help with something?” You asked with your head tilting to the side a bit confused.

Reo just stood there having a feeling of what’s about to be said by one of these guys.

Oh no. Not now 🤦‍♂️

“Well.. I just wanted to say that you’re really pretty!….” The guy said while looking at you with a small grin.

“Me? Well thank you!” You accepted the compliment with a small nod of your head.

Reo just stood there staring between you and the guys.

Can’t she just reject them now??

This is irritating me already

He thought with his eyes squinting a bit.

Before he could even attempt to shut this down the guy started talking again.

“Sooo… are you single by any chance?” He asked with a blush appearing on his face still with that small grin.

“Huh? Oh i’m-…” before you could finish your sentence Reo intervened.

“No she’s not single.” He said shutting it down with a small scuff at the end of the sentence.

I’m not single? Since when???

You asked in your head

Wait..

Before you could even say anything more the guys left feeling a bit of defeat.

“Reo.” You turned to him after the guys left.

“What..??” He questioned back not even glancing at you.

“Why’d you do that?” You pried a bit standing infront of him now.

“I don’t like seeing guys trying to hit on you.” He stated with a shrug finally looking you in the eyes.

“Why? Because you want me to yourself?” You asked again growing a bit bolder and poking him in the chest emphasizing on your words.

“More or less yeah I do.” He replied without hesitation leaning a bit closer in the process.

You got a bit flustered over that motion but continued.

“Well.. I’ve always been yours so there’s no worries!” You teased while turning around to head to Nagis’ house.

“Hey!! You can’t just say that? Where are you going?” He kept questioning while jogging to head up to you.

“Nagis’ house! We have a hangout to attend to pretty boy!” You kinda yelled as he approached you.

“Oh yeah. Well let’s go pretty girl!” He hooked his arm around your shoulder.

“I hope some guy asks me out again.”

“Literally stop.”

The thought of watching you feel different flowers blowing in the wind somewhere with only him makes him feel extremely shy.

The first class of the day was always dreadful but very short. Who even wants to go to classes every day?

The answer was reo did. He didn’t want to miss a single opportunity to see you. There was always something special he felt towards you.

then another feeling started to get into the mix…

There was jealousy starting to always bubbling in his guts. You never once treated him differently than anyone else no matter what he did.

From buying you jewelry you talked about to simply giving you a flower that reminded him of you. Nothing.

It was starting to take over him slowly. He couldn’t help the feeling. What else are you supposed to feel when the person you want keeps giving everyone the attention you so badly crave?

He couldn’t do anything this class besides sit there simmering in his emotions while watching as you accepted help from your friend… who happens to be another guy with a oh so sweet smile on your face.

he let out a quick but loud tsk while practically slamming his hand on his table at the sight.

You should only be accepting things from me…

Reo thought to himself eyeing you up as you started to get your things together while thanking your friend for the help.

He followed in pursuit of gathering his things and quickly walking past you and your friend while “accidentally” shoulder bumping them.

You grabbed your friends arm before they could tumble anymore. Your friend went to say something but you beat them to it.

“What was that for?”

You question loudly enough for reo to hear. he doesn’t even bother to turn around but rather pinch the bridge of his nose out of annoyance.

You asked once again while starting to walk towards him.

His back still faced you as he put his hand down and just shook his head and continued his walking.

You practically yelled at him but all he did was continue to walk away.

“What the hell?”

After some debating in your head you decided to run after him. Who is he to ignore you AND shoulder bump your friend for no reason??

After some time you spotted him walking through the doors to outside.

You witnessed him shoving the door with more force than needed to open it.

what the hell is his problem?

“REO!”

You called out once again. This time he stopped fully in his tracks giving you the opportunity to walk up to him.

“What the hell is going on with you today?”

He turned around to face you which stopped you in place. He looks soooo annoyed right now.

Letting out a scuffed laugh before he answered.

“You. You’re the problem.”

Taking extreme offense to that you are quick with your reply.

“I didn’t even do anything.”

“You always do something.”

“Like what?”

“You’re constantly accepting everything from anyone, treating everyone the same. you don’t even treat someone, me differently. I mean does anyone else give you the stuff I do?”

“No they don’t but why-”

“Do they even take care of you the way I do?”

“No.. why-“

“So why am I treated as just a friend?”

“Since when were we even a thing?”

“You tell me what we are so this feeling stops.”

“So instead of being a normal person and asking me out you decided to get to your limits and make me decide what we are??”

“To say the least yeah.”

“Unbelievable”

You take a pause from the argument.

He truly does look delectable this way…. Upset over being treated as a friend instead of a boyfriend… just your cup of tea.
