I'm sorry if it was boring, this is the first time I'm trying something like this 😭😭😭😭
๋ ๋ ࣭ ⭑ everyone thinks you and kim ryul can't stand each other. maybe they're right. maybe that's why he keeps an arm around your waist the entire drive, lets you steal all his warmth when your fever gets worse, and kisses your forehead when he thinks you're asleep.
you and ryul had known each other since before either of you could properly walk.
your parents had been best friends since their university days, and somewhere along the way, they'd decided the two of you should become best friends too—or as your mom like to teasingly say, 'maybe something more'.
well, instead. all you and ryul ever did was bicker.
he stole your fries.
you hid his shoes.
he told everyone at your ninth birthday party that you still wet your bed at night.
you 'accidentally' spilled grape juice on his favorite basketball jersey.
and he would always laugh at you every time you fell off your bike.
it had been like that for as long as either of you could remember—a never-ending competition where neither of you was ever willing to lose.
your parents kept insisting that the fighting meant you were "close."
you insisted that they were just imagining things.
ryul insisted that you were just dramatic.
then you insisted that he was the problem.
and ten years later, neither of you had changed your minds.
so when both families decided to go on another road trip together, they figured they might as well invite ohyul, woojin, and louis along too. since you and ryul were both only children, having a few more people your age seemed like a good idea. the more, the merrier, you guessed. besides, you weren't exactly surprised.
family trips always ended the same way.
somehow, in some way, you and ryul always got stuck together.
you just hadn't expected it to be quite this literal.
the rented van was packed from floor to ceiling. suitcases were stacked on top of one another. a cooler occupied half the aisle. travel pillows were stuffed wherever there was space.
and someone, probably your mom, had packed enough snacks to survive an apocalypse.
by the time you and ryul climbed into the van, everyone else had already claimed their seats.
you stopped in the doorway.
"...you've got to be kidding me."
there wasn't a single empty seat left.
well...not exactly.
way in the very back sat one lonely seat, squeezed between a wall of luggage.
your mom looked over her shoulder before smiling a little too innocently.
"oh!"
she clapped her hands together.
"i know."
tou immediately pointed at her.
"mom, no."
"...honey, i haven't even said anything yet."
"you don't have to."
your aunt peeked over the seat, trying—and failing to hide her grin.
"y/n can just sit on ryul's lap."
"auntieeeee, absolutely not."
you answered so quickly that louis snorted from the row ahead.
woojin actually twisted around in his seat just to watch what happened next.
ryul, meanwhile, looked up from his phone.
"...works for me."
you stared at him.
"excuse me?"
he slipped his phone into his pocket and shrugged like it wasn't a big deal.
"it's only a couple of hours."
"problem solved." your dad laughed.
you looked around the van, silently hoping someone would volunteer to switch.
but nobody did.
because ohyul had already put his headphones on. louis suddenly became very interested in the scenery outside. and woojin whistled to himself like he hadn't heard a thing.
freaking traitors.
with one long, defeated sigh, you climbed over the pile of suitcases toward the back.
"careful."
ryul reached out instinctively, one hand settling lightly against your waist as you climbed over the mountain of suitcases.
"...i'm aware." you muttered, trying to balance yourself without accidentally kneeing him in the face.
"you almost stepped on my foot."
"consider it payback."
"for what?"
"existing."
"harsh." he clicked his tongue, though the corner of his mouth twitched upward anyway.
once you finally managed to squeeze into the tiny space, you let out a long sigh before carefully lowering yourself onto his lap.
"happy?" you asked dryly.
"...not really."
he shifted slightly beneath you, trying to make room where there really wasn't any.
"comfortable?"
"absolutely not."
"same."
the van pulled away from the driveway a second later, earning a chorus of cheers from louis and woojin somewhere in the middle row.
within minutes, music filled the speakers.
your moms were already laughing over stories from university.
your dads had started discussing which rest stop supposedly had the best coffee.
everything was loud.
lively.
exactly how every family trip usually started.
except, you weren't arguing anymore.
ryul noticed after about fifteen minutes.
normally, you would've complained at least three times by now. that he was sitting weird. that his finger kept poking your arm. that his knees were bony. that somehow, this entire seating arrangement was his fault.
instead... you stayed unusually quiet.
he glanced down.
"did you lose your voice?"
"...hm?"
"you've been unexpectedly quiet."
you rolled your eyes weakly before turning your attention back toward the window.
the scenery blurred past. green trees. small shops. the occasional motorcycle weaving between lanes.
your eyelids felt heavier with every passing minute.
another bump in the road.
your body tipped sideways before you could catch yourself.
ryul's hand found your waist immediately.
steadying you.
firm enough to stop you from sliding into the luggage.
"...careful." he murmured.
"...thanks."
you didn't move away.
usually, you would've. usually, you'd complain about him touching you. instead, you simply stayed where you were. leaning just slightly against him.
that...
wasn't like you.
his eyes drifted toward your face again.
your cheeks looked pink.
at first, he blamed the weather.
then he noticed the way you kept rubbing your arms beneath your hoodie.
"...cold?"
you hesitated. "...little bit."
"it's thirty degrees outside."
you stayed quiet.
then ryul frowned.
without really thinking, he lifted the back of his hand toward your forehead.
you blinked. "...what are you—"
his hand brushed your skin. he froze.
warm. far warmer than it should've been.
his hand slid carefully to the side of your neck.
still warm. too warm.
"...baby."
the nickname slipped out before he could stop himself.
quiet and instinctive.
"...you're burning up."
you blinked at him slowly. "...am i?"
"don't play dumb."
his brows knitted together.
"since when?"
you looked down at your hands.
"...this morning."
"this morning?"
a tiny nod.
"why didn't you tell anybody?"
you shrugged weakly.
"everyone's been excited about this trip... didn't wanna ruin it."
ryul stared at you for a long moment. then quietly sighed through his nose.
"...you're impossible."
there wasn't an ounce of annoyance in his voice. only something softer. something that sounded suspiciously like concern.
he reached behind him, feeling around the pile of bags until his fingers found one of the travel blankets.
he shook it open with one hand before draping it carefully over your shoulders.
the blanket slipped almost immediately.
"hold still." he muttered.
you obediently stayed still while he tucked it around you properly.
one corner over your shoulder. another around your arms. making sure it wouldn't fall again.
"...there."
"...you're fussing." you mumbled.
"didn't know you knew how."
ryul huffed a quiet laugh. and you only hummed in response.
the blanket settled comfortably around your shoulders, trapping what little warmth it could.
still... it wasn't quite enough.
a shiver ran through you before you could stop it.
ryul felt it.
without saying anything, he shifted you a little closer, one hand resting against your side as he adjusted your position on his lap.
"...c'mere."
it was barely a whisper. more instinct than invitation. and you went without thinking. your body naturally leaned into his. your cheek found his shoulder first. then, after another quiet moment, you tucked your face into the crook of his neck.
his shirt smelled faintly of detergent and whatever cologne he'd sprayed on that morning.
warm and comfortable.
you let out the smallest sigh.
ryul glanced down.
"better?"
you gave a sleepy nod against him.
that was enough.
his arm slipped around your waist, drawing you impossibly closer until there wasn't any space left between the two of you.
his hand settled against your side, rubbing slow, absentminded circles through your hoodie.
every pass seemed to chase away a little more of the chill clinging to your body.
you didn't realize when your own arms moved.
one of them slowly wrapped around his middle beneath the blanket, fingers curling lightly into the fabric of his shirt.
ryul's eyes dropped to your hand. a smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.
he didn't tease you. didn't point it out.
he simply covered your hand with his for a second, giving it a gentle squeeze before letting it rest where it was.
another bump in the road made the van sway.
instinctively, you burrowed even closer, your nose brushing against his neck.
your grip tightened ever so slightly.
ryul's arm around your waist tightened with it.
"...easy." he murmured.
his chin came to rest lightly on top of your head.
one hand remained around your waist while the other drifted up to smooth your hair back from your face.
his fingers lingered for a moment against your temple before disappearing into your hair, gently combing through the strands.
he kept doing it absentmindedly.
slow strokes. over and over.
the kind that made it harder to stay awake.
your eyes fluttered shut.
you barely noticed yourself melting further into him until your entire weight was resting against his chest.
he adjusted without complaint.
one arm securely around you, the other pulling the blanket higher over both of you this time.
covering your shoulders, then his own, sharing the warmth.
the rest of the drive stretched on around you.
louis and woojin were still arguing somewhere near the front.
your parents laughed over stories from years ago.
every now and then, the van would hit another bump, but ryul's arm tightened around your waist before you could even be jostled awake.
at some point, you'd fallen asleep completely.
your face was tucked into the crook of his neck, one arm still wrapped loosely around his middle.
you looked impossibly comfortable.
ryul glanced down.
carefully, he brushed a loose strand of hair away from your face, tucking it behind your ear so it wouldn't keep tickling your cheek.
you barely stirred.
just another sleepy little sigh before unconsciously snuggling even closer.
"...clingy." he murmured, though the fond smile on his face gave him away.
not that he minded.
if anything...he only pulled you closer.
his chin rested lightly against the top of your head while one hand continued its slow, absentminded circles along your back beneath the blanket.
he stayed like that for a while.
just holding you. making sure you stayed warm.
the sky outside had begun to darken, painting the windows in shades of orange before slowly fading into blue.
ryul looked down at you one last time.
"...hey."
his voice was barely above a whisper.
you didn't wake.
only hummed softly against his neck.
he smiled. then, very gently, he leaned down.
his lips brushed against your forehead.
the kiss lingered for just a second.
warm and careful.
"...get well soon, baby."
his thumb swept once across your side before settling there again.
"i'll take care of you until then."
you never opened your eyes.
instead, your arms tightened around him just a little, almost as if your sleeping mind had heard him anyway.
ryul let out the quietest laugh. "...yeah"
he rested his cheek against the top of your head, keeping you tucked safely against his chest as the van carried everyone farther down the highway.
for once...
neither of you argued.
and neither of you let go.

WARNING: kissing, second hand embarrassment, louis being dumb, miscommunication, implied sexual content, misunderstanding, first kiss anxiety, fluff, wc: 2.5k+
SYNOPSIS: Louis avoided your kiss because he doesn’t know how to admit he hasn’t had first one, which leads to him scrambling to make it up to you.
Dating Louis was great. He was a perfect boyfriend. Attentive, cute, caring, the whole package really. The only thing was.. he was totally oblivious. It was painful. At this point, you couldn’t tell if he was doing it on purpose or not. I mean, movie night. The atmosphere was perfect. Your parents weren’t home so you had the house to yourselves. You’d act scared, curl up next to him — and he’d hold you. When you looked up you thought, this is it. except, he immediately changed the subject and scooted away from you. He claimed he was feeling stuffy. Fair enough.
When you surprised him after practice and you guys went on a late night stroll, You pretended to be cold, and he wrapped his jacket around you without hesitation. When he dropped you off and the two of you were standing on your porch, you thought that was it, he’d kiss you. He was staring at you like you were the only girl in the world when he suddenly said — “It’s cold. You should go inside.” You couldn’t tell if he saw the way your smile immediately dropped.
But, third time’s a charm. Right? This time, Louis planned a picnic for the two of you. He was bashful and shy the entire time, it was insanely cute. So when you guys were pressed shoulder to shoulder, and his head was tilted downwards towards you, you thought he’d actually do it. But instead, he stuffed a strawberry in your mouth and told you to eat.
It was frustrating. You thought having a boyfriend came with all the perks of a relationship, like kissing. But no, instead your boyfriend acted like you had cooties. And you had no idea why. So what conclusion did you come to? He’s nervous!
So you had the brilliant idea of initiating it yourself.
This time, you guys decided to go to the arcade. Louis insisted on showing off his physical prowess on the punch machine in attempt to impress you.
He absolutely destroyed you in any video games you tried. He dominated every game in the room. Except for one.
“Wait I got it!” Louis yelled, his face completely focused on the plushy he was holding with the claw machine. Right before he could drop it in the chute, it slipped the hold. Louis groaned in disappointment. “It’s okay Louis. Don’t waste all our tickets on the claw machine, you know their rigged.” You laughed, patting your defeated boyfriend on the back. “I guess..”
“Why don’t we try the photobooth?” You asked, waiting for your plan to fall in place. Louis agreed, following you to the crammed booth. “There’s barely enough space for us to both sit.” Louis scratched his head.
“It’s fine, you can sit!” You insisted, grabbing him by the shoulder and sitting him down. It would be hard to kiss your 6’2 boyfriend if you were the one sitting. The photo sequence started, You and Louis posed like any other couple, His arm wrapped around your waist, holding you close since you were standing. And you had your arms around his neck area. Okay this is it. You hyped yourself up.
It was the perfect moment. So you went in for the kill. “Wait, look at me.” You said. He looked up at you, waiting for you to say something when instead you began leaning in. He realized a second late what you were doing. Louis froze as you inched closer to his face, instinctively leaning back.
Flash!
It was incredibly awkward now. Louis just.. avoided your kiss. Your eyes fluttered open when you made contact with nothing, only to realize what had happened. “Uh, why don’t we go try the claw machine one more time?” Louis nervously smiled, trying to recover from the uncomfortable situation. Louis picked up the photo strip printed out. It was cute up until the last one, which was the failed attempt at your first kiss. You, leaning in with your eyes closed, and Louis leaning back with his eyes wide open.
“Uhm..” Louis awkwardly chuckled. You slapped your hand over your face, pure embarrassment settling in. “I should go.” You said, in attempt to save your dignity. “Y/n wait-” Louis grabbed your arm. “No really, it’s fine. I’ll see you later okay?” You replied with a smile on your face, although internally you were ready to die.
Louis watched you walk away with a frown on his face.
The photo strip stared at him, sitting on his desk. Louis stared back, his hands clasped in front of him as he replayed the moment over and over in his head. Especially the last photo. Your face—eyes closed, leaning in like you were certain. Him, pulled back, wide-eyed like he had seen something terrifying instead of… you.
Louis audibly groaned, remembering how embarrassing the situation was for the both of you, shaking his head as if it’d make the recollection disappear. Yeah, he chickened out.
These past couple days you’ve been more distant, awkward, and dry. Of course he knew why. He just didn’t know how to fix it. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to kiss you—he did. Obviously. You were his girlfriend. It was that he had never done it before. And now that the moment had actually come, Louis realized something humiliating.
He didn’t know how.
The poor boy was at a crossroad with no idea what to do, when an amazing idea came to his mind. He grabbed his laptop, opening up google.
searching…
how to kiss █
Results flooded his screen. Youtube links, websites -- everything, all teaching him, how to kiss. He pressed a reddit thread.

Practice on a pillow. Or just do a more relaxed kind of peck. I don't know I've only kissed one person and that was in the first grade.

I’m 16m and haven’t had my first kiss I’m too scared and ion even got a gf to kiss
@deleted •3y ago
My buddies first kiss the girl puked in his mouth so as long as you dont do that you are golden.
Louis’ face scrunched up in disgust as he read the last one. He hoped you wouldn’t do that to him. Most of these were just as clueless as him or absolutely useless. As he continued to scroll on the thread, his door burst open.
“Yo Louis have you seen my-”
Louis instinctively slammed his laptop shut, looking like a deer caught in headlights. Woojin’s eyebrows furrowed as he looked at his roommate who was looking awfully suspicious. “Uhm, what were you doing?” Woojin asked, staring at his laptop.
Louis didn’t reply immediately. He racked his brain for what to say. Oh hey Woojin? Yeah I’m just researching how to kiss so I can make a move on my girl.
Yeah, that wouldn’t work.
“Please don’t tell me you were watching p-”
“Ew!” Louis yelled, visibly grimaced. “I’m not watching that. I was just.. Doing something..” Louis danced around the truth. Woojin raised a brow.
“What do you want anyway?” Louis said abruptly, changing the topic. Woojin walked up to him, Louis’ grip tightened on his laptop. “Hey what’s that?” Woojin pointed out the window, a shocked look on his face. Louis’ head snapped towards the direction, searching for whatever Woojin was talking about, when he took that as a chance to snatch Louis’ laptop and run off.
“Hey!” Louis yelled, bolting after him. Woojin ran towards the dinner table where Ryul and Ohyul sat, startled by the sudden noise. Woojin ran around the table, playing a game of cat and mice with a very angry Louis. “You’re not funny! Give me my laptop back!” Louis tried to chase him around the table. “What are you guys doing?” Ohyul asked, intrigued.
“Louis was watching-”
“Shut up!” Louis jumped on the table, swiping at his laptop and missing. In the process he knocked over Ryul’s cup of water off the table. In the midst of the chaos Louis created, Woojin took that as a chance to run to his room, locking his door.
Louis banged on it. “Come out bro! This is not funny.” He whined, defeated. “He took your laptop?” Ryul asked. Louis nodded. “Why do you want it back so bad?” Ohyul grinned.
“None of your business.” Louis grunted, knocking harder on Woojin’s door. Shortly after, the door swung open, a chummy smile on Woojin’s face as he handed over the laptop to Louis who immediately snatched it. “I hate you.”
“If you wanted tips, you could’ve just asked any of us.” Woojin took a seat at the table, completely smug. “Ask what? Someone please explain.” Ohyul sighed. “Don’t.” Louis said, his eyes locked with Woojin. “I don’t know man.. It’s pretty funny.”
“Woojin.” Louis groaned.
“Just tell them it's not that serious.” Woojin stretched on the chair, laying his feet on the table to which Ohyul opposed. Louis sat next to Woojin, sighing.
“I was…” Louis trailed off. He tried to say it, but every time the words almost came out his mouth, he physically recoiled. “For godsake, just give me the laptop and let me see myself.” Ryul snatched it from him. “Wait, nonononono!” Louis reached across the table trying to grab it back. Ohyul pushed his arms away as he peered at the laptop sitting on Ryul’s lap.
Ryul opened it, to be met with a Reddit thread, on how to kiss. Silence fell for a moment. Ohyul’s grin widened, Ryul stared at the screen in silence. Woojin was snickering. Louis wanted to crawl under a rock.
“..You cannot be serious.” Ryul finally spoke. Ohyul and Woojin were having a laughing fit. “I seriously hate you guys!” Louis covered his face with his hands.
“Okay, okay. Why were you.. searching how to kiss?” Ohyul asked, biting his lip in attempt to hold his laughter in. “.. it’s a long story bro.” Louis ran a hand through his hair as he recalled the events. “Make it short.” Ryul said.
Louis grumbled. He wasn’t exactly encouraged to tell them what happened, especially after what they just did. “No judgement I swear!” Woojin said very loudly.
Louis looked at him reluctantly before caving. “Okay fine.” Louis sat forward. “A couple days ago.. I was on a date with Y/n.”
The three nodded, motioning for him to continue. “And she tried to kiss me.”
The three boys looked dumbfounded. “Okay? That’s all?” Ryul furrowed his brows. Louis sighed before answering. “No.. I dodged her kiss..”
Once again, silence fell. “Wow. You’re actually an idiot!” Woojin blinked. “Okay okay. So what? You’re trying to figure out how to initiate it then?” Ohyul asked. “Well. Yeah.” Louis scratched his neck. “But what happened after?” Ryul put a hand on Ohyuls shoulder, slightly pushing him since he strayed away from the story. “Well she was acting normal until the photo printed, then she left.”
“What do you mean until the photo printed?” Woojin replied. “Well when that was happening we were in a Photo Booth.. so it kind of caught on camera.”
Woojin burst out laughing. “You said no judgement!” Louis yelled. “Louis, why did you do that in the first place?” Ohyul asked. “Because. I haven’t had my first kiss. What if I’m like.. I don’t know. Horrible!” Louis threw his hands up, exasperated.
Ryul smiled. “Bro it’s not that hard. Just go with the flow.”
“No, don’t listen to him.” Woojin interrupted. “You absolutely can mess it up which is why she has to lead.” Woojin paused. “But actually since you messed that up already, I don’t see how that’s going to happen..”
Louis rolled his eyes. “Why don’t you just tell her the truth?” Ohyul suggested.
“And embarrass myself?” Louis gave him a look. “What’s so embarrassing about that? I told my first girl.” Ohyul shrugged. Woojin snorted.
“Nah. Ohyul’s right. Like Woojin said, you already messed it up. You have to explain to her why. Even if you kiss her she’s still going to wonder why you were so weird.” Ryul said.
As much as Louis hated to admit, they were right. He had to come clean. “You can always practice on a pillow. Or do a more relaxed kind of peck.” Woojin teased.
“Shut up!”
The rain pitter pattered outside. The downpour slowly trickled down your window. It was late out, your parents were sleeping. You were blasting music in your headphones as you reorganized your room, to keep your mind off of things.
You danced around the space as you picked things off of the floor. Your phone was low battery so you turned to grab your charger, only to be startled by your boyfriend standing outside your window drenched. Awkwardly waving. You screamed which also startled him. Louis jumped back, tripping.
You rushed over to the window, pushing it up. “Are you okay?” You asked, worried. Louis looked up at you, in all of his wet glory. “Uh. Yeah.” He smiled crookedly, pushing himself up. “Sorry about that.. I was knocking for a bit.”
“No! It’s fine. I shouldn’t have been playing my music so loudly…” the two of you were just staring at each other. Both at a loss for words, neither of you knew what to say, the tension was thick. “Uhm.. so what are you doing here? It’s pretty late.” You broke the silence. “I just really wanted to see you. And talk to you and-” Louis paused.
“..can I come in?” He blurted. You looked reluctant, which made Louis even more nervous. “I don’t know Louis.. I think you should just go home. It’s not really a good time right now.”
Louis pushed his hair back, the rain doing a number on him. “Look. I know I messed up.” He began. You finally looked up at him. “The truth is.. I was nervous. I know it was dumb. I should’ve told you this earlier. I just didn’t want to be that guy who hasn’t had his 1st kiss.”
“..huh.” You narrowed your eyes. Louis smiled, awkwardly. “That’s why you’ve been so..”
“Weird. Yes.” Louis interrupted. You bit your lip. “Don’t. Laugh.” He whined. “I guess I just wanted our first kiss to be perfect. For it to be the perfect moment. He held your hands. “But I don’t need any of that, when I have the perfect girl in front of me.” Louis smiled. You leaned back, scrunching your face. “You're so cliche.” You said, but in reality, you were cheesing. Your stomach was fluttering.
Louis pulled you back in and closed the gap. Was it awkward? Yes. But it was genuine and sweet. “So.. can I come in?” He grinned. “hmm… I don’t know. I think you have to work for it.” You teased.
“But it’s so warm here. And I’m so cold out here..” Louis pleaded, his bottom lip jutted out. “Well in that case.. I guess.” You rolled your eyes. Louis climbed in, hitting his head on top.. and then falling into your room.
based on the readings of the three cards, they all seem very much in sync. It seems to me that louis likes someone, but it doesn't appear that he's having a romantic relationship with this person.
the seven of pentacles indicates that louis is patient and consciously waiting for the right moment to take action, and I tell you, he really wants to take action. he feels determined to do something. this card also speaks of relationships and connections that are built little by little. probably the person he likes is a friend of his. this card also symbolizes a bond that needs time to truly form, so it only reinforces that it's most likely a friend or colleague, someone he initially had no romantic feelings for.
the last card shows that he wants to protect this person. he doesn't want to overwhelm them, probably because of his status and fame. let’s remember that he's still a teenager, and this person must be the same age as him, probably a school friend, and getting involved with someone in a group can be a bit overwhelming.
in conclusion, he does like someone, but he's not yet in a romantic relationship.
SYNOPSIS: you feel like something has been wrong with your relationship lately. Ryul wasn’t being honest, so you got to the bottom of it.
A/N: to whichever anon requested this I am SO sorry it took so long! I hope you enjoy :)
He barely complimented you anymore. Not a glance when you were all dressed up. Lately, you felt Ryul has completely detached himself from you, and it was driving you mad. You stared at the message you sent him two days ago over and over. No reply, for 48 hours. It wasn’t like him.
So you gave him a call, asking if he wanted to come over. And what did he say? That he already made plans with the boys. But that’s what he said last time. And the time before, and the time before that.
It was entirely suspicious. And although you had an inkling of what could’ve been going on, you didn’t even want to admit it in fear of it being true. So you pushed it to the back of your mind and forgot about it.
That was until today. You and Ryul were kicked back, watching a movie. You turned to discuss with him, when you saw him incessantly texting on his phone. An uncomfortable feeling arised in your chest. “Who’s that?” You asked, swallowing.
Ryul immediately looked up, putting his phone down. “Ah, nobody important.” He slung an arm around your shoulder. “Did I miss something?” He dug into your popcorn bowl.
You frowned. “Nothing much.”
Movie night continued as planned. He didn’t pick up his phone once, so you chose to believe him. I mean after all, it was hassle getting him here, and you didn’t want to ruin the night with false accusations. As the movie came to an end, Ryul went up to use the restroom.
Naturally, you went on your phone as you waited for him to come back — when his phone started buzzing.
Ping!
Ping!
Ping!
Over and over, the phone buzzed. You sighed in irritation, picking up his phone to see who could’ve been messaging him so much. Your stomach dropped as you looked at the thread of messages from an unknown number.
when are we hanging out again?
hello??
yul!!!!!
I miss you!
“My bad, I didn’t mean to take so long.” Ryul walked in to the living room, Patting his hands dry on his shorts. He froze when he saw you, phone in hand, staring straight at him. “What are you doing?”
“Who is this? Their number isn’t even saved, Ryul.” You sounded exhausted. “It’s nobody important, like I said. Trust me.” He tried grabbed your hand, but you pulled away immediately. “Then tell me who it is!” You yelled, catching him off guard.
He exhaled, irritably. “It’s just a girl I train with.” You expression faltered as the words fell from his lips.
“You know I love you Y/n. She doesn’t matter to me.”
You looked down on the floor, refusing to let tears fall for him. “How do you expect me to trust you, when you’re this secretive?” You gritted.
“Y/n it’s not like tha-”
