My latest comic for The Nib was written by my friend Mike Thompson- it’s his first published comics work!
The Nib has been a steady source of income and a huge support to me and many other indie cartoonists for years. They publish amazing work, but will be cut loose by their financial backer in July. You can read the official post about it from editor Matt Bors here. They are still running their kickstarter-funded print magazine, but have to put digital publishing on hiatus until they figure out their next steps. If you’ve been thinking about supporting their membership program, now would be a good time. They have levels from $2 to $40 per month. I really don’t want this to be my last Nib piece!

Cameron does not have any influence. He is an actor. Just like in s10, he will also make sure in s11 that HE gets enough screen time.
Well that’s clearly not correct. He does have influence, and we are watching the direct result of it. Cam is the reason they hired Noel back… like.. he HAS influence. Some pretty big influence, based on that… And I wouldn’t agree that Cam’s been getting enough screen time this season. It’s not just about Ian and Mickey together on screen, or even just Mickey on screen. Ian’s getting only fractionally more screen time than Mickey. More, definitely, but it’s still the least amount among the cast.. and it’s just absurd either way.
He has the ability to walk away based on how his character was treated this season and honestly the way he was lied to by the showrunners.. who were able to give him what he wanted up front knowing they could take it away with editing. :/
