0901 Moody:: 3-Months Internship Journey
This marks the end of my industrial training program in TopGlove. I wouldn’t say that I had learnt a lot of engineering knowledge from here since I was assigned to a chemist as my supervisor. I mostly dealt with chemicals type of thing and carried out researches/studies on the chemicals used in the factory to help improve quality. Having to work here for 3 months, I was exposed to the real working environment that people always claim to be CRUEL. However, I am lucky to have been placed in the department where there are not much “problems” between the staffs. They are all nice and good people. Instead of using the word “cruel”, I would rather label them as STRICT. A leader who is not strict will not produce good quality followers as well as the product quality.
Top Glove is not on my list of companies at first. The main reason was that most of my course mates doing their interns there. I was telling myself to go to a company where I can work on my own and to be independent. But in the end, I have to thank god to have given me this opportunity to have this bunch of friends here with me through all the ups and downs.
Being the only girl (trainee) in this factory, I am blessed to have these 3 gentlemen who are so caring and helpful. Life would be hard without them.
Not to forget this lady also. We will ‘snake’ in her office, drinking milo and biscuits (bottomless supplies) and chit-chatting the whole afternoon. There are tons of memories between us to be treasured.
There are still a lot of stories along the journey. And definitely, they will be kept as part of my best memories.
