Creating my first practice page
Iām so excited to create my own html tribute page! I will be giving a tribute to one of my favourite jrpgās of all time, Vahn from the video game series āLegend of Legaiaā. Iāve been using a website that got recommended to me by the man who got me interested in coding in the first place. His YouTube channel is called āEngineered Truthā. I saw the video when it first was published a few weeks ago when he was collaborating with the creator of the site I go on, Quincy Larsen. He was interviewing him and Quincy promoted his website and thatās when I decided to try it out.
I went to that website and was following the steps that it was giving to me. The steps are very simple and easy to follow. Afterwords it sent me to a page where I can code and on the right side of the page is a cell phone that shows the screen of the page of what it would look like if I added code onto it. It was perfect, it gave me a good idea of what pages look like if added the proper codes.
It started with html and CSS, it shows on the top right of the screen of how many steps Iāve taken so far. As of now, I am on 119 and I am satisfied of what Iāve been doing so far. Iāve been committing days off and work days just passing the challenges andĀ āleveling upā every time I got something right. It felt good passing certain challenges and I plan on not stopping any time soon.
The step Iām currently on is telling me that I should create my own page and it showed be an example page. Iām very tempted to just check out the code and copy and paste elements myself. But I know for sure that I wonāt be learning anything if I decided to do that. So Iām set on listening to what itās telling me to do and I will take my time to get this page done.
