Q: How many reps / sets of basic drills do you recommend a new member to shoot for when learning pullups, pushups or other basic strength techniques?
A: It depends on how strong the person is, but for beginner level I try to help them get 5 sets of 10 as a general rule and they rest for 1 or 2 minutes between sets.
Q: So, if I wanted to learn pullups and have no medical issues with my shoulders you might ask me to try one pullup on the first day and if I am successful you would have me continue to do pullups until I could do 10 pullups, 5 times?
A: Yes.
Q: And what happens when a beginner can do these sets and repetitions?
A: We allow them to unlock a more advanced strength technique...
