Part 4: From your policy re birth control: ".... so I think it should be free and easily accessible..." I think a problem where I disagree, is that there is no such thing as free. It's someone else paying for it and not the person is how it is "Free". Now, I have a disease that requires an Rx. I have a high deductible plan so I shop around. I pay 40/month for a drug that I need for quality of life and life. Why should Birth control be free but not others? It costs what 20/month at walmart?

I think the whole insurance system in general need to be overhauled. I'm lucky enough that my insurance covers my medication and I don't have to pay anything for my specific prescription. However, that's not the case for everyone and I know a lot of people who have to pay quite a bit out of pocket for prescriptions that they need to survive. I think we need to move toward a single-payer, Medicare-for-all system that will make healthcare accessible for everyone, regardless of income.

Part 3: The small amount of room is also annoying hence all the questions. I don't like to use Facebook or Instagram for political issues since the country is so divided that half the people seem to be mad. So an email address would be nice to add so emails can go back and forth. Unless, you plan on posting the Q&A's on page.

Also fair! I know a lot of people aren’t exactly thrilled with the state of political discourse in America and I pride myself on being accessible to everyone who would like to have a discussion with me! The main reason I chose Tumblr as a platform was because it’s easy to build the page to be whatever you need it to be (and I’m an avid Tumblr blogger, so I already know all the controls.) Part 2: I don't quite get as a potential state representative why you have a lot of notes on US policy vs sticking with NH policy you will vote on. My opinion is to control the controllable. Not in a state seat to deal with federal matters. (But that's my opinion).

That’s fair! I included the federal policy points in an effort to be straightforward about who I am and what I believe in, especially because I began setting this up last fall when I first announced my campaign. I do have some NH policy papers in the works, as well as a district profile and further information about what I believe will help move the state forward.

Part 1: A couple of items. I did just send a note, that I can't access by google chrome or edge. I don't like using my phone for long messages due to typo's. (Which I had). There is still no easy visible link, but when I typed in rachelcisto/ask I got to this page. So that needs to be fixed. Also, I don't have Tumblr nor want to get it. So I'm unsure how you will answer these questions since there is no place for an email. Will you post the questions and your responses on the web?

Hi anonymous, this page is still a work in progress. There is a “contact me” page in the works (that’s why I hid the “ask” and “submit” buttons on desktop. I thought I hid them on mobile as well, but I’m not a developer so I have to look at it again.) I will post answers to any questions I get this way on the page so that both the question and answer can be seen. HELLO!

Hi everyone! This is my first blog post! How exciting! (OK so I may just be super-excited because I’m sitting on a fancy couch in the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. after finishing up a four-day conference by the Progressive Change Campaign Committee and Our Revolution, but that’s only mildly relevant.)

I have a TON of photos I took at the conference and I’ll be sharing them all once I’ve had a chance to decompress a bit and really get to work. Suffiece it to say right now that I heard Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Keith Ellison speak/ We had a surprise visit from Cynthia Nixon. And I am SO STOKED ON POLITICS RIGHT NOW.

I can’t wait to tell you all about what I’ve learned - both here and in person. Let’s do this, New Hampshire. I love you and I’ll see you soon.
