Thank you to everyone who voted in the Mark Leader Election! I know I ran unopposed, but it still means a lot that people believed in me enough to vote for me instead of abstaining. I want everyone to know that I am planning on taking this as seriously as it deserves to be taken. I already have so many ideas, and I can’t wait to set them into motion. To begin, I want to open the floor to my fellow Switches. I would really like some feedback, to hear what it is you’re all specifically hoping to see improve here for those carrying the new mark. What challenges have you faced? What questions do you have? What would be most beneficial to you at this stage of things? Let me know, I want to hear from each of you!

I don’t want anyone to think they’ve been forgotten. While these elections were to unify the marks, with the way things have been going I think we could all do with some unity. I’m working on another idea for this weekend. One that I hope will help everyone start to rebuild some of these bridges. I’m not going to reveal what it’s for, because I don’t want that to be used as a reason people don’t attend, or skip out. But, I would like for everyone- and I do mean everyone- to leave their name and mark down below. I’ll release the “why” later. Just know that this is for an event that will require participation this weekend. It won’t be massive and it won’t take up too much time, but it will happen in parts, and it will require some effort. A lot of people stick out. I like observing people. But I think I notice the quieter people more. I don’t wanna assume anything about anyone, so maybe that isn’t exactly the case...- But, anyway, yeah, so, three people that stick out. I’m not gonna name people I already talk to for-...obvious reasons. So just off the top of my head.

I am very sorry for not responding earlier Sir, I don’t know how I missed this but I did. I would rate my cooking skills at an 8/10. I have always had an interest in cooking, I love learning and trying out new recipes. And I have learned a lot of new stuff in my cooking class this semester, and have been practicing some new techniques also. I’m very good at making the things I grew up eating, like lasagna, pastas, chicken, and even salmon. But those aren’t my only skills.

OOC: Gifts left outside of everyone’s doors on Valentine’s Day. Artie did his research- those who needed sugar free cookies got them, those with gluten intolerances got gluten free, and those who are vegan got vegan cookies! Each card had a short, personalized message included, saying something nice about the recipient and wishing them a Happy Valentine’s Day.

Hello again Miss. This was a very funny update, and I agree with you completely. If you do decide to steal phones, I humbly request that you let the rest of us in on what we’re missing. I have a feeling, with the behavior of so many here, that some enlightening things would come of it. People don’t understand that obviously having private messages is perfectly fine, but using them to talk badly about others isn’t appropriate. Even if it is funny. And you can tell people do because of how they respond to the stuff everyone can see. It’s sad. I wish we could all just be the adults we’re supposed to be and say what we have to say to each other, to promote conflict resolution.

To be completely honest, I’ve been noticing the dramatics around the current climate that two Dominant’s punishments have been perpetuating, and it’s making me even drier than the last runway I did when I traveled to Egypt for a fashion show. With all the posts from Club Captains going up, it was only a matter of time before I posted one of my own too! For our first Club Challenge I’m going to keep things simple, because I know so many of my members are new to the whole knitting experience, and because one of the coolest things about knitting as a craft is that even some of the simplest things can be and are still really beautiful! So, our first challenge is going to be:

POTHOLDERS GALORE!

I would love to see everyone give me the best potholders they can! Use any kind of yarn or technique you’d like, and make them any size! If you need help or ideas let me know, I’ve got plenty of examples and would be happy to walk anyone through their first project! I’m giving everyone two weeks for this, because it’s a small project for any skill level, but I know these things do take time. I’d love to see anyone not in the club joining in, or if you’d like myself or one of our members to make you your own personalized potholder, let me know! I’m so eager to see what everyone comes up with!

Okay, so I know I just made a post but I’m going to start making the weekly glee club themes available on social media on Fridays. So today. Then by next week on Friday, we’ll have seen everyone’s performance and either Lucas or myself can post a new one. 

This week’s theme is UNLIKELY DUETS. My purpose here is to make you reach out to someone you would never have thought to work with, so like not your first, second, third, or even fourth choice. Someone new. Then maybe you can work on some music you might have never chosen, to go along with the theme. Mash-ups are totes allowed and you can do as many songs with as many people as you want. Performances will happen live in glee club, but you are also totally free to post them on social media for everyone else to see too.

DM: Thank you Sir. Yes, there are some things I’m very private about. I hope that’s okay. Yes I can. They were very domestically-oriented scenes. Moving through hand and arm positions, obeying complex orders and tasks, memory exercises. and obedience and trust training. Often he would bind me using different methods- sometimes cuffs, sometimes rope, sometimes tape- and have me carry out simple tasks using only my mouth and feet. He had also begun my pain tolerance training, but we hadn’t gotten past using the flogger before everything happened. I hope this was sufficient Sir.

I think with the snow, the best way to break in art club themes is to start with COLOR. 

Work with any medium you want, any muse, any canvas, and even as many projects as you want. I’m just looking for color. Make it pop, make it loud. Take this any way you want. Overload me with every color. Use a lot of different shades of one color. Do a piece in black and white with a color accent. Go nuts. Then post it on social media with tga:art so we can find it.

I noticed the announcement about Mark Leaders, and I’ve been thinking about it. So, I want to formally nominate both my brother, Ambrose Eliot-Abrams, and Eleanor Flanagan for submissive Mark Leader. Both of these people are really amazing people and submissives, and I know either of them would do really well in the position. If they accept, it’ll be a great race!
