Pejac’s “Don’t Look Back In Anger.”

As a statement on Brexit, Spanish artist Pejac’s latest installation piece involves a rendition of Van Gogh’s The Starry Night keyed into the body of Jaguar XJ Sport which the artist has titled “Don’t Look Back In Anger,” a reference to the 90s mega-hit by Oasis. (Side Note: Supersonic Art is name after the Oasis song Supersonic). By using such strong British icons, Pejac has wonderfully created a superb visual statement while expressing his own anger at the overall situation.

Pejac’s solo show, “Law of the Weakest,” opens on July 22nd at an as of yet unspecified location.

BBC Proms will feature a performance on a 300 year old instrument complimented with motion-tracked projection mapped visuals:

See the cello in a new light as Sol Gabetta performs Elgar’s Cello Concerto in E minor.

A 300-year-old instrument becomes a screen in this unique film. Infrared cameras track the cello’s position allowing a digital projection to stay locked onto its surface as it moves.
