CLARA: you're too smart to stay unemployed for long, your ex-girlfriend is capable and provided for whether she stays engaged to mitch or not, and while that's incredibly gross and i'll never see you the same way ever again, technically you were both single and all of us have regrettable hook-ups in our past.

CLARA: our dad might've quite literally been the suckiest dad on the planet, but he did at least teach us to get what we want through any means available; blackmail, persuasion, negotiation. hell, i work for mitch, our sister works in the press, and our brother likes to set things on fire, so you have plenty of options.
