Breath Aspect Rambles

so i was reading up on some things and i noticed. breath is really connected to daydreaming, fantasy, comedy, ghosts. i also feel like the aspect incorporates freedom in many different ways. like example: freedom of the material world. breath players seem like they’d have a hard time being connected to reality a bit? the main two didn’t seem to either want to or could grasp reality or actively daydreamed to removed themselves from it. the ghosts part is because it’s freedom from the world entirely. you aren’t even connected to a body. the fantasy thing is tavros had such a huge connection to fairies and fantasy like themes. comedy is because of egbert of course. comedy is pretty obvious as to how it connects to breath. ya know maybe magic connects to breath since jbert was interested in it and magic is connected to fantasy to an extent.

i also wanted to add that since hope and breath are connected both aspects deal with fantasy and imagination. breath deals with it in daydreaming and disconnecting from reality and the material world while hope (because it’s connected to mind) it still has the imagination and fantasy but is majority connected to opinions, beliefs, and justice (doing right or rights sake).

breath also seems to be very personal and almost selfish in some way? they mainly care about what they want to do. which does *not* mean they are mean or ONLY care about themselves, just they have a tendency to focus on their stuff rather than others. but i feel like they’d also be sort of good at giving advice though? they might not help you fix your problem but they can help with advice.

Space = Void + Mind

Mind = Space + Hope

Hope = Mind + Breath

Breath = Hope + Life

Life = Breath + Light

Light = Life + Time

Time = Light + Heart

Heart = Time + Rage

Rage = Heart + Blood

Blood = Rage + Doom

Doom = Blood + Void

Void = Doom + Space

Just a theory i think could be true. it basically is each aspect is made up from or has very similar traits from the neighboring aspects. now for the other part to this theory which is:

Dark (Realistic) aspects:

Time / Heart / Rage / Blood / Doom / Void

Light (Idealistic) aspects:

Space / Mind / Hope / Breath / Life / Light

They go in order from most to least on both. The Light aspect is the most realistic of the idealistic aspects and the Void aspect is the most idealistic of the realistic.

There’s also this thing with the dark aspects being more “revolutionary” than the light ones, which basically means they’ll fight against things that they don’t see as right while the light ones will coexist. The light ones seem to be more connected to prospit and are more prone to passiveness while the dark ones are more prone to take action and are connected to derse. Of course the class might change the passive/active thing to a degree. idk this is all a theory X) i’m not that good at this stuff lol.

Heart Aspect

The Heart bound are concerned with their sense of self, their identity, and their minds. They are absolutely focused on having a rock solid personality. All actions go towards perfecting it to be that way. They seem to be very repulsed at a fluctuating, undefined, complicated self. To others, they might come off as “self-centered” people overly obsessed with their identity. Which isn’t too far off, but it is an extreme assessment of them. They have a tendency to assume everyone else is the same way. Being so focused on creating this perfectly crafted personality. They might need to learn and understand others just don’t care about it. Heart players are masters of the art of masking (or need to become masters of it). They can fit any role they need to fill and will morph themselves whatever way they see fit. They could come off as “fake” because of this. The description also describes them as competent at their best which makes sense, to be someone so skilled at suiting a role and being so highly self aware you have to have a high level of intelligence. I feel like mind and heart share this intense pull towards smarts. One focuses on it completely while the other has it naturally but would rather focus on their identity instead. They are described as imaginative. As well as steady which points towards what i said earlier about their steady sense of self. Maybe their someone who are the same no matter what. The true person they are will always be the same. Their negative traits are listed as “overbearing, inflexible, and cold” i think those speak for themselves.

Blood Aspect

The Blood bound are naturally drawn to people. They find most of their inner strength by connecting with others who are like-minded to their ideals. They can inspire others with the advice they give them. When described as “Prophets” rather than “Generals” it makes me think they are the type to see everyone as equals and not be above anyone. They’d rather lead with their advice and ideals and be there alongside others rather than just command everyone to do things they think is right whilst sitting back unaffected. With being described as “Do as I say, Not as I do” I can see the Blood bound to be hypocrites. They might tell you “hey you should stop eating fast food, it’s unhealthy” whilst they munch on a Big Mac. They mean well with their advice but they have a huge tendency to not follow it themselves. They also might heavily rely on the people they’ve formed a connection with. They could also just have a very welcoming or friendly aura to them. Even if they look scary, you can’t help but be drawn to them. Uplifting is another word that is used to describe them. It makes me think of someone who gives the speech to boast everyone’s moral to keep fighting or to just cheer up. As for negative traits, they can be very crabby ( ;3 ) and grumpy with a bad temper at their worst. Stubbornness and being stuck in their ways makes me think they will just shut out any disagreement to their ideals. That and they could just be stubborn people in general hehe.

once again this all based mainly on the Extended Zodiac description. it also can be very wonky and work differently once you put a class with it.

Time Aspect

Time players are very intelligent and can make up plans as they go and think on their feet. Running into action with no plan but still executing it perfectly. They are goal-focused people . When they have something in mind, they are going to do it or try their best to. Empathy is one of their best traits, this makes me think they could fight for others or are just deeply caring of people. With them being described as “defensive” at their worst, that could mean they could be very vocal and fight back, not taking any kind of slander of others which could get them into trouble. Overall i’m mainly seeing a person who is ready to fight back or are, at their core, very aggressive (not necessarily a bad thing but a “don’t mess with me or else” mentality, which is good to have to a degree.) They stand up for themselves and others. I’m seeing a person who might also be stubborn or possibly even a perfectionist(?) Ya know with how much they care for results and problem solving. I also see someone who just does not give up on whatever they have their mind set on, which suits their (maybe) stubbornness. A very caring person too.

this is just my thoughts, i could be horribly wrong but most of these are going to be based around the canon descriptions on the Extended Zodiac.
