He doesn't even appear in her lab, like he usually does. No, he figures he owes her a break from those sorts of heart attacks at least for now. So he gives a brief rap on her door before nudging it open, striding in quietly with his hands behind his back. 

"Shanny?" His voice is quiet, his clear blue eyes focused on her form, a small smile playing across her lips. "I have always been, and will always be your friend. First and foremost." He paused, fingering the small gift in his hands and bringing it before him. "So before you smack me . . . again . . ."

"I'm rather insulted that you didn't even bother looking, K." 

He's got that smirk on his face. A little more scruff than usual, and only the one streak of white curling over his ear. "Did you know OsCorp security is far more fun to confuse? You should get me a visitors pass. Or something."
