Hello! I know I’m a new face ‘round these parts, but if there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s gritty fluff yaoi. And OH MY SKIES ABOVE did you deliver! I was not at all prepared for the roller coaster ride that was this fic, but I enjoyed every second! The pacing was on point, holding just long enough to resonate but not overstay its welcome! By chapter sixteen I was paranoid FOR BC! And the conclusion was just…*chefs kiss* The callback to “It’s not personal, it’s just business” was absolutely perfect and so well deserved. As an aviation enthusiast (shocking I know) I loved all the references and terms! The NASA related stuff was also incredibly accurate! Though I normally jive better with hurt/comfort fluff, I actually really enjoyed the grit in this fic! The tone was a phenomenal match for the story you were telling, and I don’t think it would’ve worked half as well without it! I can see why to many people this is the definitive take on the ship! 10/10 in my book! Thank you so much for blessing us with this masterpiece, and I wish you and your partner nothing but happiness!
