Cassette deck reel motor overhaul (AIWA XK-009)
High-end tape decks often have independent reel motors to reel up the tape. As such motors often run at slower rpm, it is easier to be stopped by dead spots and build up conductive layer that weakens the motor. My AIWA had reached a point where the reel motor stopped working and required overhaul. I opened it up, cleaned the contact (ipa and sandpaper), and lubricated it. It is working great again. Nice.

FX-Audio TUBE-01J recap. Replace the no-brand capacitors with nichicon audio capacitors. The bipolar capacitors were replaced with Shizuki Electric film capacitors (UD25Y105K, 1uF 250V).
