It's Bunny Day! Well, Easter, but the villagers all call it Bunny Day.

I found out why pretty quickly. It's the day that...I'm not sure what Zipper is. A spirit in a costume? A costume that came to life?

Well, they came. Zipper seems to be putting on some kind of act. I checked with Isabelle, and she said the town hadn't set this up. Zipper came and did this all himself. But then why would he seem kind of tired?

He hid a bunch of eggs throughout the town. In holes, in trees, encased in stones, in packages tied to balloons, in the rivers and the sea!

They were all colorful and pretty, and Zipper gave me a prize for finding one of each kind. It was a fun hunt!

I decided to go out on a day trip. Nothing too exciting, just traveling out. And I found a town with someone else who looked human!

I didn't actually ask if he was human. It had been embarrassing when Broffina pointed out I was human, what if he found it embarrassing too? But it was nice to be around someone else like me!

Rudy has a crush on Broffina! It's very cute to watch him give her gifts and compliments, just tripping all over himself.

I swear that I saw a cat get off the train and then disappear into Moondale. But I haven't seen the cat since. Did it actually happen?

[clrecrossing]

I really wish that Katrina wasn't as persuasive as she was. Or at least that she had better news to tell me. Talking with people is already difficult, to be told there's going to be disaster in the next few days?

Is it me? Do I mess up? How do I fix it? Why didn't she give me advice? I suppose the advice that it will pass helps, but I'm so worried!

Yet another new store! It's nice to get a chance to pick out new shoes to wear.

Some of the things Broffina talks about concerns me. I can't seem to find my tongue around her, even when I disagree. I know Broffina isn't right about there being a shred of truth in every rumor. Rumors can be lies told just to hurt someone. But I didn't say that.

I wish it was easier to speak up.

Mira's connection for heading out to the turf wars came and picked her up. I wish her the best in her battles.

The town is getting busier! A Dr Shrunk sought me out to ask about a permit for opening up a club in Moondale. The thought of getting a place to go out and dance...it sounds so wonderful! Maybe I'll even get the courage up to dance there myself.

Another late night working as the mayor. I talked things over with Isabelle, and we ended up agreeing to send out an official notice saying that Moondale was proud to have the Able Sisters as a business in the community. Isabelle said that just speaking about it is really what most of the villagers would want from such requests. They value things differently. Having someone say they enjoy something purchased is worth more than a trade deal.

It was truly a beautiful night.

I really enjoy the Able Sisters tailoring shop. The clothes are appealing and affordable. I wasn't expecting to be asked by Mabel and Sable to help promote the tailoring shop from my position as mayor.

They're a good store, and Moondale is a small place. There isn't really competition for them. But I still find myself wondering about promoting them like I was asked. Is it just wearing their clothes? An official statement? Should I...make a deal with them?

I don't know. I'll have to talk to Isabelle about this.

Hamphrey asked me to give a present he'd bought for Skye to her. It seems he has a small crush on her. I can't blame him, Skye is so charming! Of course his quieter nature would be drawn towards her.

I was happy to deliver it. Skye absolutely loved the gift. It was a cute blue top, and she changed into it immediately. Hamphrey was so happy to hear she loved it.

I was looking for fossils as usual, and I...dug up a gyroid?

Everyone in town treated this like an entirely normal thing. The fact the gyroids move and sing was spoken of as something charming. But these are for the dead! Why would they be moving?

It's unsettling. Is it because they're not humans that they aren't afraid of these items for the dead to use?

Pippy and Tex got into a big fight. I don't even know what they were fighting about, but it was enough to have Pippy snapping at me! I felt so awful for making things worse. I sent her a letter later to try and cheer her up. Pippy's usually so nice to me, it feels like I just messed up...

I found this lovely embroidered pouch while I was walking around. I knew whoever it belonged to had to be missing it. Sure enough, Pippy was so happy when she got it back. It really feels like I helped her out. I'm glad.

It turns out there's a fortune teller who comes right into town to check on the residences and tell their fortunes for a small fee. I couldn't believe it! But when I went in there, I...saw things. Great things. Ones I didn't quite understand.

Katrina told me that the celestials were paying attention to me. I don't know what it means, but I left feeling like I had seen something greater and far beyond me, and a small part of where I placed in the world.

Skye had her birthday March 24. We got together and had a wonderful shared cake, and I gave her a cute new t-shirt to wear. Skye loved it so much she changed into it immediately. Sky has been such a good friend since I've arrived in Moondale, I'm so happy we could spend her birthday together.
