Paintbrush Portraits by Rebeca Szeto

San Francisco-based artist Rebecca Szeto transforms old and damaged paint brushes into elegant dame sculptures. Featuring influent women in history, including dancers, duchesses, and icons of famous paintings, Szeto exceptionally showcases her love for art history. The brushes tops are carved out into portraits of different women, while the bristles are matted and soaked in paint to resemble the ornate and puffed dressed of their designated era.
