Hibari, to Tsuna: Sorry I'm late, I was... doing things.
Mukuro, entering the room, disheveled: HE PUSHED ME DOWN THE FUCKING STAIRS.

hibari kyoya is not a guy who scares easily.
fiamist:
hm; that response had not been lost on him. of course, nothing that had occurred in that tiny room had gone unheard. the invitation alone — sent directly from tsuna himself — had been quite the surprise, in all honesty. yes, he had agreed to ally himself with the vongola. on his terms, mostly; for now. but, he had not expected a proper request of his presence, a proper mission, so soon into their reunion. that, though, wasn’t even the half of it. what was even more curious was walking through the door to find hibari kyouya set as his ally. had tsuna gone mad? if this was meant to be some sort of joke, it certainly wasn’t funny. not at all.
mukuro said little during that meeting. for once. perhaps they took his uncharacteristic silence as a sign of his displeasure or disinterest. or maybe they simply thought him changed over the years. in any case, it hardly mattered. whatever the details, he’d already resolved to see the job done, quickly and painlessly, before he’d arrived… at least where he was concerned. he would pay no mind to hibari kyouya.
a trip to france, of course, meant that their assignment was no simple task by nature of the distance alone. even so, he’d made certain to be incredibly agreeable if only to surprise them both. truthfully, though, his attention was merely focused, wholly on what lay ahead; he wanted to observe the man hibari kyouya had become.
would the cloud guardian defy his orders in the name of an old grudge that even a decade couldn’t seem to sweep away? quite honestly, mukuro was entirely unsure. and so, he remained pointedly on edge. he wasn’t about to die for the mafia. and by this man’s hand, especially. he didn’t, in truth, fully understand the magnitude of their so-called rivalry. but, he wouldn’t lose himself to it; that was for sure.
arms crossed over his chest, he stood at the corner, eyes downcast, coat pulled tight to hide his face from the dull light from the street lamps above. he breathed and, briefly, his face was obscured by a plume of smoke. it wasn’t a habit; not really. but, where was he? had he abandoned him already? fair enough. at least, he wouldn’t be at fault. whatever.
a moment later he felt a presence. and he turned, dropping his cigarette to the ground and crushing it with his boot as he did, to see who approached. as soon as he recognized the figure that came into few, he grinned.
“ about time. shall we? ”
there were few times in hibari’s life that he had wanted to leave something unfinished. the rivalry between him and the mist user was something they had never resolved, the cloud guardian didn’t mind though, considering resolving it would lead to one of them dead. he knew a long time ago that he wouldn’t be satisfied until he finally got rid of rokudo; rid of that annoying duel colored gaze that seemed to see right through him.
the raven had to pull together the funds needed for their mission, getting plane tickets and assuring their hotel was booked correctly. it had taken a little longer than he would have liked, kusakabe was usually the one to take care of those matters - but the man had been out on maternity leave with his wife as their child was preparing to enter the world.
a scoff left the man as he made his way out towards where he was to meet the mist guardian. he would have lectured second in command if it wasn’t for the fact the man’s wife was loud. hibari knew better than to deal with loud women.
exiting the foundation through the back entrance, he made his way around to the front of the large building and to where the smell of nicotine lingered. his nose scrunched as the smell became stronger. he was met with the back of the illusionist, gaze settling on the familiar blue hair styled in that irritating way. ignoring the others stupid grin, he approached with a grunt.
❝ ━ hm, ❞ glancing down at the burnt out cigarette. ❝ ━ disgusting. ❞
his gaze shifted to the mist user for a moment before handing him his plane ticket and an envelope.
❝ ━ we’re going to france, as you know. ❞ he began walking to where they had a car waiting for them. ❝ ━ inside the envelope is your passport. sawada figured you didn’t have one prepared so he had it arranged yesterday. ❞
the car was his own, a black s-class sedan he had acquired as a gift from dino cavallone for his last birthday, the only gift the blond had given him that was actually useful.
he let himself into the driver's side as he typed in the directions to the airport in his gps.
❝ ━ don’t smoke in here.” his voice was sharp, ❝ ━ i don’t want the smell to linger. ❞

Mukuro: Look, let's just agree to say I'm Sorry on the count of three. One, two, three.
Hibari: ...
Mukuro: ...
Mukuro: Now, see I'm just disappointed in both of us.
v4n1shed:
“Clearly.”
“I have other places I could stick it, but I doubt the consequences would be worth it.“ He stabs it one last time, releasing it to allow it to stick out of the bar top.
❝ ━ would i be prying if i ask what happened? ❞
curious eyes settle on the man before him.
v4n1shed:
“… I was put in my place. It was humiliating.” He hates even admitting it, but there’s no reason to try and play it off as nothing when he’s clearly destroying the bar top.
❝ ━ so your pride was struck. ❞ the mafia member muses, reaching for his tea. ❝ ━ does releasing your frustrations on the counter put you at ease? ❞ there were plenty of marks on the surface now. hibari placed his drink off to the side, away from the knife.
v4n1shed:
“It is worse for the knife.”
❝ ━ i suppose that’s true. ❞
a moment of silence.
❝ ━ so, is there reason behind mutilating the counter? ❞

Despite the fact that Aizawa’s night job tended to involved murder in the name of improving the world, he also had a day job. Murder didn’t exactly pay the bills, especially as he refused to take anything off the heroes he killed. That would discredit him quicker then anything else the media had thrown at him thus far.
If he had to work, he would have to pick a job that logically worked in his face, which was why he worked at a cat cafe. Being around the creatures all day helped improve his mood and remind him of things that were worth fighting for and… well, few people would believe that the quiet guy who played with cats all day was a killer.
Thankfully, it was… quiet, today. There was really only one other person there. Unfortunately, that person was also hogging the attention of his favorite cat. Ah, well. He was supposed to work on his customer service anyway, so… He made his way over and offered a small fake smile
“ I don’t know how often you come here- do you already know her name? She’s one of our friendliest cats. ”
hibari’s fingers brushed lightly on the top of the small kitten’s head. the animal mewled softly and nuzzled her nose against the pad of his thumb - a rare smile spread across his lips. the cloud guardian rarely go to take the time to see the cats in the cafe’, but when he could, he made time.
he was pulled out of his moment with the cat from a deep voice, cobalt hue’s glanced upward as he saw what looked like a worker from the cafe, ❝ ━ ah. ❞ he hummed, ❝ ━ i do not know her name. ❞
his eyes were pulled back to the small cat who mewled at him, a sudden feel of shame filled the raven. how could he see this small animal each time and not even know what to call her?
v4n1shed:
Quietly, but quite forcibly, stabs the bar top repeatedly.
❝ ━ that’s not good for the finish. ❞
